Adoption fee: $550 All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. As required by Wisconsin Act 90, all dogs will have received a veterinarian exam (CVI) within the past 30 days. Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. Applications and Adoption Rules can be found on our website, on the "HOW TO ADOPT" tab at JRsPupsNStuff.org. Upon receipt of the completed appli+cation, we will process the application including: contact with your veterinarian and completion of a home visit. Please be sure to include the contact information for your vet as we will call. If your vet requires an information release, please be sure to contact them as soon as you submit your application. My name is Emerald! I am a retired puppy mill survivor. I am between 6-8 years old Shih Tzu and Poodle mix which is called a Shih Poo. I weight 11 pounds. I am friendly with dogs and cats! A dog sibling would be so awesome to help show me the ropes on how to be a dog. I am still working on my potty training. Crate trained is unknown as I spent my entire life in a crate, so my foster mommy either lets me free roam of the kitchen or in an excerise pen when my foster mommy has to go out to run errands. I am still working on leash training as I was never walked on a leash in my entire life so I am still learning how to. A home with fenced in yard is required as I am a huge flight risk since I am still learning new things that I have never seen before and would get scared easily. I am also looking for a family that would be patience with me through my retirement journey. I am spayed, microchipped, up to date on my vaccinations, and comes with CVI Health Certificate. Warning! Objects in mirror are smaller than they appear! Meet Pauly, a super tiny (5lbs), super timid, little 10 year old papillon mix. We don't know a lot about his life before he became a cupid, but we do know that he is incredibly nervous around new people. After finding himself at MADACC a second time in two years he landed safely with us. Pauly is a very sweet dog that loves to be around other dogs. His favorite past times are going for nice walks and staring into your eyes lovingly from afar. It takes Pauly time to warm up to people but once he feels safe he shows his happy and playful side. Pauly would do best in a quieter home with a dog sibling (or two) and someone around a lot. He can be crated but he doesn't like it. Pauly is mostly potty trained but does need to work on it a little.
