We could see Parker’s ribs. All of them. Clearly. Despite getting three big meals a day, plus treats, Parker was losing weight. He spent his days at the shelter running in frantic circles, then pacing when he was too tired to run. At night, he barked at every sound, every shadow, as if the world itself was closing in.So we tried an experiment: a kind volunteer offered to foster Parker.And just like that, the story changed. In a quiet home with routine and calm, Parker exhaled. His ribs disappeared beneath healthy weight. His pacing slowed to a steady trot at your side. His bark softened from panic to commentary - a running narration of life as your shadow.Parker is three years old, housetrained, crate trained, and so smart you’ll catch him studying you like he’s preparing for an exam. He’s polite, sensitive, and endlessly loyal - the sort of dog who wants to get it right for you, every time.He isn’t built for chaos. Shelter life proved that. But in a steady, loving home, Parker is a revelation: funny, affectionate, devoted. Originally surrendered when his owner’s medical condition made it impossible for her to keep him, Parker is now waiting for the person who sees his sensitivity not as a flaw but as the very thing that makes him extraordinary.If you’re looking for a sidekick who will keep you company through every room, every mood, and every moment, Parker is waiting.***PARKER IS IN FOSTER.
