His bark softened from panic to commentary -- a running narration of life as your devoted shadow.Parker is three years old, housetrained, crate trained, and so smart you’ll catch him studying you like he’s preparing for an exam. He’s polite, sensitive, and deeply loyal -- the kind of dog who wants to get it right for you, every time.What Parker has taught us is this: he isn’t built for chaos. He doesn’t thrive in busy households, and he’s not comfortable living with other pets or children. Meet Walker! He came into the 4 PAWS family in May 2020; emaciated, heartworm positive and had several wounds. Walker has made a complete transformation! He is a sweet 7-year-old, 74lb silly boy who is good with kids and other dogs but hasn’t been cat tested. Walker was treated for heartworm and has tested negative. This breed mix can be high energy and very smart which means he will require exercise (mentally and physically). He will also need a 6ft fence with plenty of area to run. His new family needs to be committed to daily exercise, continued training, and socialization. Meet Banger! This sweet hound boy didn`t have the greatest start to life, but after much TLC, he`s ready to find his new home! Banger is a very active boy that loves walks and is very passionate about getting there fast. Banger is so eager to go on walks that he may slip past you on the way out. He can definitely make you put some pep in your step on walks so we are requiring no first time dog owners. Banger may be a little shy at first and has not been around many dogs so we will require that everybody in the home comes to meet him before adoption, including other dogs, just to make sure everybody gets along. Children in the home will need to be 12 and up. Once he gets comfortable though, Banger is a sweetheart who loves attention and loves running and playing! He loves to eat and loves playing with toys, but he has been known to get a little protective over both, so make sure to give any food, treats, or toys separately if you have any other animals at home. He is food motivated which should help with training. Banger is also not super educated in normal dog life, especially leash walking and potty training, so he will need some help with training and owners who have had dog experience in the past! She is a fun and loving dog that just wants to be loved and adored! She’s pretty easy going. We’ve had no issues with her regarding other dogs or people. A very welcoming dog that is house trained. Ahe will howl to alert you others are approaching. Additionally, she understands basic commands (I.e. good girl, no, bark, lay down, and go to your bed). She has been a great household pet to us but unfortunately due to our busy schedules she is doesn’t get out as much as we would like. Looking for a home or family that will treat her well and love on her like she will do to you ❤️

To be fair, Chonk had a different name when she came to us, but we changed it because it seemed a bit offensive to her.Sure, she is large, big and beautiful and she may waddle a bit - but that is her charm. She is also a bit cautious about things in the beginning, but, that too, is part of her charm.What we have discovered in the short time she and her two buddies have been with us is that she is a princess - our padded princess. When she is out with them, she doesn't have to be the life of the party or run all around. When she walks (sometimes quickly) from point A to point B, we all notice her.Chonk has a sly regalness about her - she will walk by you and as soon as she passes by, you do a double-take. Her eyes are gorgeous, her tongue is oddly long and you think, wait a minute, I need to give you a ton of attention because you are amazing!Chonk is 3-years-old and weighs a very slim 42lbs. Her Dad passed away and she and he her buddies are looking for their new homes.If you want to add some spice to your life, some royalty and some slow-paced fun, please come meet the amazing Chonk!
