Story
Peter Parker is 3 years old, he was adopted out as a puppy, but his owners have developed some medical issues that have made it hard for them to continue caring for him. He is very sweet, loves to cuddle, but also a big ball of energy, so he will need a fenced in yard! he does well with older dogs, not sure about younger ones. We can set up a meet and greet. Struggles with some anxiety (loud noises) which is turning into him jumping onto owner with health issues. Please email us if you would like to meet Parker, baybeagles@gmail.com.

Story
Hey there, future family! I’m Freckles! 🐶🎉 If you’re looking for a fun-loving, goofy, tail-wagging best friend, then look no further. I love to run, jump, play, and make everyone laugh with my goofy personality. Whether it’s zooming around the yard, playing with other dogs, or getting belly rubs from my human friends, I’m all about having a good time! I’m also kid-friendly and dog-friendly, which means I’d love to have a furry sibling or a tiny human to play with!

Name: Ukulele Age: approx 4 years Weight: 55 Color: red/white Breed: Walker hound Vaccines: up to date Altered: yes Heartworm Status: negative Energy Level: average House trained: Yes Crate trained: yes Dog friendly: yes/must be adopted to a home with atleast 1 dog Cat friendly: yes Kid friendly: yes but very scared Temperament: very fearful, goofy, playful whe he warms up Adoption fee: 275 Notes: We pulled Ukulele from our local shelter as he was struggling in the shelter environment. He is EXTREMELY fearful/flighty. Extremely athletic and has scaled walls at the shelter easily. He will require a very patient person with a quiet home and multiple friendly dogs to get his confidence boosted. Once settled he will pick his person and can be "normal" he does have the ability to bond and trust. He does silly things like take random items into his crate and "hoard" them. He does not destroy the items just takes them in his crate to collect. He has a great personality! Available for adoption anywhere in the US or Canada with transport provided

Story
Every once in awhile, a dog comes to us and they tug at our heartstrings more than usual. Whether it's their background, their condition or their fortitude. Such is the case with Dude - it's his fortitude that we all admire.Dude does not have normal front feet, which also makes his front legs a bit distorted and shorter than his back legs. Likely having this since birth, he has had to adjust his gait and movement. He will have xrays to see if they can make sense of what is going on.He is now on pain meds and joint supplements and we already see him feeling more relaxed. He also now has rugs in his run so that it's easier for him to walk around. When he sees you coming to sit next to him, he rolls on his back and puts his legs in the air! What appears awkward and perhaps painful to us, is just normal for Dude! He gets what he needs and seems to take pleasure in the small things. He adores when people take an extra minute to hang out with him. Dude loves belly rubs and sitting in the sun.Dude is just three-years-old and otherwise very healthy! He will never be one for long walks but he will always be one for snuggles and love! Dude and his friends are available to meet every day from 9am-12pm - come say Hey Dude!Animal Aid Society, 80 nButler Farm Road, Hampton, VA.Interested? Come for a visit any day of the week - 365 days a year between 9am - 12pm. Hope to see you soon!PLEASE NOTE: Animal Aid Society observes a 40 mile adoption radius to facilitate post adoption support and follow ups.
