Ranger is 7 and a very happy boy! He loves other dogs and cats, he gets along very well with my cat. He is 50 pounds and he needs someone with a bit more time on their hands for long walks and play time. He knows his sit and stay. He doesn’t like playing in water but he loves drinking it and won’t stop so that does need to be supervised, he gets a bit excited when people come over but that calms down within 5-10 minutes, just looking for a super loving home for this super loving boy!

i rescued Leo from the shelter when he was 1 month old. i felt in love with him right on the spot. Leo is a mix bread of Blackmouth Curr with something, i never checked. he is very energetic and love to play catch until he drop dead. when Leo was 1 yr old, he got bitten by a pit dog , after that he became more defensive, he is very reactive when he see other dogs on the street, he does not growl or show teeth but get very excited and want to approach other dog. his anxiety led me to training with a trainer but it did not change so much. he needs more training, he is good with adults but needs to get to know a person 1st. , he is good with kids but not too young , he is too strong for little ones. he needs a lot of running, playing to get his energy out, a home with open farm or backyard will do it. Leo is a loving dog, good listener, ,he loves to play. he needs a loving home.

Hi, I’m Babycakes, but my friends call me Sweet Cakes! I’m a 6-year-old, 45-pound Boxer / Black Mouth Cur mix with a heart as big as my smile. I love going for walks, playing fetch, and curling up in the comfiest bed I can find. One of my favorite pastimes is burrowing under blankets where it’s warm, cozy, and perfect for snuggling. I’m a well mannered girl who knows several commands, including sit, paw, and heel, and I have excellent house manners. I’m also a big fan of water, so if you have a pool, I’ll happily be your new swim buddy. I especially enjoy long walks with the shelter volunteers, and I know exactly where the local pet store is because I love browsing through all the dog toys and tasty treats. I’m a smart cookie (or cake, that is!), full of personality and charm. He is well-mannered and is friendly with everyone he meets including other dogs. Peele knows basic commands and is an easygoing boy that is looking for a comfy couch to chill by your side. Because of his 80 pound frame, a house would be ideal, but his mellow personality would be suitable for some apartments. Peele’s story is one that shows the true devotion of a dog and human bond. He was living in the car with his owner for nearly a year because his mom was homeless and refused to move into housing that wouldn’t allow her to bring Peele. Good samaritans, including a staff member of Abandoned Pet Rescue, were trying to get Peele and his mom somewhere safe.
