Story
Hey there Delilah, what's it like in New York City?Although she can take a little bit to warm up, Delilah is very playful once she opens up. She loves getting brushed, takes treats gently, and knows how to "sit" like a proper lady. Don't let her shyness fool you, underneath her baby doll eyes is a very affectionate dog who loves to give kisses! Delilah could really use a loving home where she can grow her confidence and feel safe. She loves to crawl right next to you and would make a great cuddle buddy. She has also met other dogs very politely on leash at the shelter and might do well with other dogs at home or in the outside world! She has also done well being crate-trained, and is a smart girl who will flourish with some additional training.Click the "I'm Interested" button to be connected with her foster family.

Could little Runaround Sue be the Girl for You??This precious pup is as sweet as they come. Sue arrived in our shelter in June and has lovebombed everyone she's met ever since. She is the sweetest girl with the softest fur, who is eager to meet everyone and will quickly become your best friend. She absolutely LOVES treats and will sit like a princess for them. She likes yogurt, but will happily and gently take any treat you offer. She's also easy on leash and more than happy to dress up in costumes or play around in our ball pit! She has done well with dogs, cats, and kids in the past, too. She loves playing with stuffed toys, getting cuddles, and meeting new people.Sue's expressive big brown eyes are waiting to spot her future family! Could that be you?!To learn more, click the red "I'm Interested" button to be connected with Sue's foster family.

Story
Meet handsome Cody! He arrived at the shelter on 3/17 as a lost boy, and no one has come to reclaim him. Cody is now ready to find his new, forever home where he will be loved and kept safe so that he never ends up back in the shelter. Cody is a very friendly boy who enjoys gentle pets and words of encouragement. Cody isn't so sure about being walked on a harness lead, but he's starting to get the hang of it. Cody has a beautiful, soft coat; he seems to have been taken care of well. Cody also seems to be house-trained because he's a super holder and will do his business as soon as he's out the door. What a good boy! If you're looking for a new BFF who enjoys long leisurely strolls, please come meet Cody! Cody is approximately 3 years old, and he weighs 68 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Cody is waiting in run 883; his ID # is 655334. Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers. This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays. The shelter prefers people to make an appointment, go to - https://nqa3.nemoqappointment.com/Booking/Booking/Index/as65fg9dr953 and select Adoption. You can also show up between 10:30 & 4:00 Tues. thru Sun. (shelter closes at 4:30), you might have to wait a few minutes until someone can help you. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip. When you book an appointment, it doesn't reserve a particular pet for you. Thank you for considering a Cobb pet!

Story
Introducing this cute, sweet, smart boy named Alistair. Alistair arrived at the shelter on 3/19 because he got lost on an adventure! He is precious, sweet and cute as he can be. He is very playful, attentive and obedient and enjoys playing outside as much as he can while he patiently waits for his new home. He has a lot of energy to burn so a fenced in backyard where he can run until his heart is content is ideal for him. Alistair would love to have an active family that will include him on grand adventures. Create activities for him to keep him stimulated and content so he doesn't get bored and wonder away from home again. All it takes is for you to be extremely patient and dedicated as a committed pet parent. Period. This smart, energetic baby is awesome as he knows of commands such as sit when asked which is awesome! He may know more and would be the perfect student if someone would take the time to teach him. He yearns for a great family who will take the time to train him properly so he will never return to a shelter ever again. With your patience and love, he is going to need you now more than ever. Can you please help him get of this shelter so he can live the best life possible? Please come see this little handsome guy soon and get to know him more. Alistair is just a year old and weighs about 50lbs. He is still just a baby. Always BE PATIENT WITH HIM AS YOU SHOULD WITH ANY SHELTER PUP. Puppies are a lot of work and COMMITMENT so please make sure you have the time, COMMON SENSE, patience, financially stability, and a stable home to give Alistair the life he deserves so much. Its all he has ever dreamed of. Alistair current on vaccines, will be neutered, microchipped and tested for heartworms upon his adoption. He will be waiting for you to save his life in Run 829. Alistair's ID is 655358. It is not known how he is with kids, dogs, and cats, but we encourage for you to bring them to meet him so he can possibly have a lifelong best friend.
