Meet Charlie, the best good boy. He’s about 9 months old and 31 pounds. He is currently learning his manners at his foster home. He is energetic, playful and curious. Charlie loves to play fetch, stretch out and nap, and play with his toys. He is potty trained and is a good boy riding in the car. He is working on his walking on a leash and crate training (so far so good). He is very affectionate and playful with all people and dogs, and he's good with cats with a proper introduction. He would love to be in an active household with other dogs. Meet May! She's mastered all basic obedience training thanks to classes with Swift K9 Training. She LOVES people and kids, but would do best in a home with children over 8. She does not mind cats at all and completely ignores them. She loves her crate--it's her safe space. She is great on leash and loves walks. May is about 4.5 years old and weighs 55 pounds. She would do best in a home as an only dog, and needs a quiet, calm environment willing to take things slow to help her adjust to home life. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Peanut Butter found herself unwanted at a high kill shelter in West Texas. She is good with other dogs and kids, cats are unknown.   All dogs and puppies require supervision and training. Peanut Butter is an exceptionally sweet dog. She always wants to be a part of the action, and will be a great companion for an ACTIVE household. We took her up north to some land my family has, and she had a wonderful time running around in the woods all day with her foster brother. In fact, that's the only time I've seen her really tired out. She would LOVE a companion dog, especially if they've got as much energy for wresting & running as she does! She picked up 'sit', and 'lie down' pretty quickly, as she's very food motivated. I would guess that she will take to obedience training very well. She's still a little puppy- clumsy, but an activity like bikejoring might be great for her. She is definitely a 'working' dog, and always wants to be busy. She hasn't shown resource guarding, other than a little growl or two when foster brother got too close to a high value bone, but she was easily redirected. The two 6 year olds have come all over her, taken toys away, and played with her feet. She's very patient, though we have seen a little bit of gentle puppy mouthiness, also easily redirected. She sleeps on the floor at night (with an occassional foot of the bed slumber). She has had mixed results when left alone in the kennel during the day while gone, so she will need more work on her kennel habits. She loves to play fetch, and is getting the hang of 'drop it' when she brings the ball back. Hey there, I'm all about biscuits, and while I haven't had the pleasure of trying BRUNO Biscuits, I'm sure they're absolutely fabulous! But let's get to what's more important - my name is Bruno, and I've got quite a tale to tell. Once upon a time, I had a home, but somehow I ended up tied to a cart receptacle at our local Petsmart store on a rainy afternoon. Lucky for me, the store manager took me in and was super nice. She held me until I found my way to a rescue, and I couldn't be more thankful for her kindness. I'm not sure why my previous "people" left me there, but I'm keeping my paws crossed for a much better home this time around! Say Cheese! We are one squeakin' cute group of pups! Hi, our mama is Mouse and we are the mice-dogs: Bianca, Jerry, Mickey, Minnie, Remy, Angelina, Jaq, and Brisby! We will be ready to go to our forever homes on 9/8/23, after our spay and neuter surgeries! We will have had our basic vaccinations, microchipping, deworming and flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
