*****Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Meet Juice (known by his foster as Joey), a neutered 4-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix weighing about 56 lbs, with soulful eyes and a heart that just wants to feel safe. He’s a sweet, charming boy who’s been through a lot and is ready for a calm, loving home where he can finally settle in and be someone’s whole world. Juice is affectionate, cuddly, and loves his toys, but his favorite thing is quietly hanging out with his person, and he loves resting his head and paw on your arm like his own little love language. He can be shy and wary with new people at first. Slow, gentle introductions help him build trust, and once he does, he is deeply loyal and devoted. Juice played with neighborhood dogs, including a larger husky. His play style was bouncy and rough. He has become more fearful around unfamiliar dogs and prefers his space, especially near his crate. He’s seems to ignores smaller dogs, and would be happiest as the only dog in the home where he can soak up all the attention. Juice is not cat friendly and will chase, so a cat-free home is required for him. Juice has an average energy level and is happy with moderate daily activity. He does pull on leash when excited and has been working on that. He responds best to patience and kindness, as harsh correction can cause him to cower and feel guilty. He is always crated when left alone due to his love for chewing, although he does sleep well in there through the night. He’s had some potty accidents. Juice does great in the car but may need assistance getting in. He's always ready for a ride. Juice has only shown some food aggression with other dogs, but with stability and routine he’s made great progress. He eats separately in his crate. He may still guard high-value treats, which is easily managed with respect for his boundaries. Juice would do best in a quiet home with soft-spoken, patient adults who understand that healing takes time. He’s not a “problem dog” he’s a sensitive soul who just needs the right person to make him feel safe, loved, and chosen. Give Juice that, and he’ll give you his whole heart. ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt him? Story
There are puppies that are cute... and then there are puppies that somehow manage to make every single day a little more fun just by being themselves. That's Liza Minnelli. She's the kind of puppy who's always ready to grab a toy, start a game, make you laugh with her goofy antics, and then melt into you for a few cuddles once she's all tuckered out. She has one of those wonderfully happy personalities that's hard to put into words, but incredibly easy to fall in love with. Watch her video and prepare to fall in love with this sweet little lady: https://youtu.be/0ndFxBm7my0?si=nt08sJ8FKrDHB0nY Liza is believed to be approximately 4 months old and currently weighs about 30 pounds. As with any rescue puppy, her exact breed is always a mystery, but our best guess is she's a Black Mouth Cur and Pittie mix. Whatever combination created her also gave her a beautiful face, a playful spirit, and a personality that's every bit as lovable as it is fun. One of our favorite things about Liza is just how much joy she seems to find in everything. Hand her a toy? Best day ever. Toss it across the room? Even better. She absolutely loves playing, happily entertains herself with toys, and has the kind of cheerful, easygoing disposition that makes her a pleasure to be around. She's the perfect mix of playful puppy energy and sweet affection, always happy to join in on the fun but just as happy soaking up a little love from her people. Like every puppy her age, Liza is still learning all about the world around her. Right now, her days are filled with playtime, naps, mealtime, and discovering something new every day. Each new experience helps build her confidence while she learns what it means to be part of a family. Watching puppies grow through this stage is one of the most rewarding parts of adoption, and Liza is ready for someone to help guide her through it. Bringing home a puppy is a commitment, but it's also an incredibly rewarding adventure. Liza will need a family that's ready to continue teaching her all the important things puppies need to learn, including potty training, crate training, leash walking, basic manners, and positive socialization. Patience, consistency, and plenty of positive reinforcement will go a long way in helping her grow into the amazing adult dog we know she can become. If you're ready for the laughs, the puppy zoomies, the toy explosions across your living room, and the incredibly special bond that comes from raising a puppy, Liza just might be your perfect match. She's ready to find the family who will love her through every stage of growing up, and we have a feeling she's going to make them smile every single day. We are willing to test Liza Minnelli with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? It's really not fair for one puppy to be this cute. Adele Belle is teeny tiny, ridiculously squishable, and somehow already seems to know she has everyone wrapped around her little paw. She has this happy, outgoing personality that makes people instantly smile. She's always ready to grab a toy, make a new friend, or wiggle her way into your lap for a cuddle. She's playful, affectionate, and full of confidence, but in the sweetest possible way. Honestly, she's the kind of puppy that's impossible not to spoil just a little. Watch her video and prepare to fall in love with this adorable little lady: https://youtu.be/0ndFxBm7my0?si=nt08sJ8FKrDHB0nY Adele is believed to be approximately 4 months old and currently weighs about 12 pounds. One of our favorite things about Adele is how much joy she seems to bring wherever she goes. She has a wonderful disposition that's equal parts playful and affectionate, making her just as happy entertaining herself with a toy as she is curling up in your lap once playtime is over. Like every puppy her age, Adele is still learning all about the world around her. Right now, her days are filled with playtime, naps, mealtime, and discovering something new every day. If you're the kind of person who loves a puppy that's just as happy chasing a toy as he is curling up for a nap beside you afterward, you need to meet Elvis Presley. He's got that perfect puppy combination of playful, sweet, and easygoing that makes life together feel like so much fun. He'll happily join in on all the excitement, but unlike some of his siblings, Elvis is usually the first one to decide he's played enough, find a comfy spot, and recharge for his next adventure. Honestly, we think he's mastered the art of work-life balance better than most people. Watch his video and prepare to fall in love with this handsome little guy: https://youtu.be/0ndFxBm7my0?si=nt08sJ8FKrDHB0nY Elvis is believed to be approximately 4 months old and currently weighs about 31 pounds. As with any rescue puppy, his exact breed is always a mystery, but our best guess is he's a Black Mouth Cur and Pittie mix. Whatever combination created him also gave him a wonderful disposition, a playful spirit, and the sweetest personality. One of our favorite things about Elvis is how naturally balanced he is. He absolutely loves toys and is always ready for a game, whether that's tossing them around the yard, carrying one proudly through the house, or inviting his siblings to join in the fun. But once he's gotten all those puppy wiggles out, he's perfectly content finding a cozy place to stretch out for a nap. While the other puppies might still be zooming around, Elvis is often already snoozing away, completely happy to recharge before the next round of playtime. Like every puppy his age, Elvis is learning something new every single day. Right now his world revolves around playtime, mealtime, naps, and discovering all the exciting things that come with growing up. Every experience helps build his confidence, and he's ready for a family who will continue introducing him to the world with plenty of patience, encouragement, and love. Bringing home a puppy is a big commitment, but it's also one of life's greatest adventures. Elvis will need a family that's ready to continue teaching him all the important puppy skills like potty training, crate training, leash walking, basic manners, and positive socialization. Consistency, routine, and lots of positive reinforcement will help him grow into the wonderful adult dog we already know he's capable of becoming. If you're looking for a puppy who's playful without feeling nonstop, sweet without being shy, and has the kind of easygoing personality that makes him a joy to be around, Elvis might just be your perfect match. He's ready to find the family who will cheer him on through every stage of puppyhood, and we have a feeling he's going to reward them with a lifetime of love, laughs, and plenty of happy memories. There are puppies that are cute... and then there are puppies that have so much personality packed into their chunky little bodies that you can't help but smile every time you see them. That's Elton John. Between his adorable puppy belly, his love for toys, his eagerness to earn another treat, and the way he'll happily curl up for cuddles after playtime, this little guy is already stealing hearts everywhere he goes. He's sweet, smart, playful, and just has one of those personalities that makes you think, "Yep... this one's going to be an amazing dog." Watch his video and prepare to fall in love with this handsome little chunk: https://youtu.be/0ndFxBm7my0?si=nt08sJ8FKrDHB0nY Elton is believed to be approximately 4 months old and currently weighs about 18 pounds. Whatever combination created him also gave him an adorable face, a stocky little puppy body, and a personality that's every bit as lovable as it looks. One of our favorite things about Elton is how much he genuinely enjoys interacting with people. He's playful without being wild, loves carrying toys around and starting little games, and is always excited to see what's happening around him. He has such a happy, easygoing disposition that he's simply fun to be around. Once he's gotten some of those puppy wiggles out, he's more than happy to climb into your lap, soak up a few cuddles, and remind you that he's still just a baby. Elton is also one smart cookie. He absolutely loves treats, which makes learning feel more like a game than work. He's eager to please, enjoys engaging with people, and already seems like the kind of puppy who's going to love training sessions because they mean spending time with his family (and maybe earning a snack or two). We think he's going to have a blast continuing to learn as he grows. Like every puppy his age, Elton is still discovering the world one day at a time. Story
Buck was almost another forgotten shelter dog. I first saw his picture at a very high-kill shelter that euthanizes dozens of dogs regularly. He was severely underweight, scared, and looked like he had nearly starved to death. His surrender notes said his owners dumped him after he killed a chicken. Considering the condition he was in, it is obvious that he acted out of desperation and hunger. I kept telling myself I could not take in another brown Heinz 57 dog. But I could not stop thinking about him. Today, Buck is healthy, safe, and finally able to just be a dog again. Buck is about 2 years old and around 40 pounds with a people-focused, affectionate personality. He absolutely loves attention and wants to be near his person whenever possible. Despite everything he went through, he has remained incredibly social and loving with humans. He also does very well with other dogs overall. He can occasionally act a little dominant with other males, but nothing concerning or over the top. He settles well into group dynamics and enjoys being around other dogs. Buck has a very balanced energy level. He enjoys hanging out, exploring, getting attention, and simply being included in daily life. Now that he no longer has to worry about survival, his personality continues to open up more and more. Dogs like Buck are everywhere in overcrowded shelters right now. Good dogs. Normal dogs. Dogs that simply ran out of time, resources, or human compassion. Buck was lucky enough to make it out. Good fit: someone wanting a loyal, affectionate companion that enjoys being close to their people and included in everyday life. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. Location: Oklahoma (available to approved out-of-state adopters via transport) Health: Fully vetted (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested) Adoption fee: $500 (includes transport + vetting) Transport routes: WA, OR, ID, MT, UT, WY, CO, MN, WI, IA, IL, IN, OH, PA, MD, NY, NJ, VT Think you might be a good fit?
