Story
Meet December of our newly listed "Monthly Litter" — 11 irresistible puppies (7 sweet girls and 4 charming boys) who are ready to wiggle their way into loving forever homes! If you’ve been searching for the perfect new addition to your family, these little ones might just be your match. Their brave mama, Miss January (pictured), was abandoned in rural Mississippi and discovered extremely pregnant in an old, vacant building. Thankfully, kindhearted finders took her in, and she safely delivered her puppies on 10/15/25. With the help of a dedicated southern rescuer, the whole family soon settled into foster care, where they’ve been thriving ever since. These precious babies are blossoming beautifully. They are being lovingly socialized and exposed to all the things puppies need to grow into well-rounded dogs. True to puppy form, they’re full of joy — playful, energetic, curious, and always ready for snuggles once they’ve tired themselves out. These pups would do wonderfully in a home ready to embrace puppy life: the training, the structure, the adventure, and of course, the endless love.If you’re searching for a loyal companion and a lifetime of tail wags, look no further — you’re sure to find your perfect match among the Monthly Litter.Name: December GentryBreed: Black Mouth Cur/CrossbreedSex: FemaleAge: 9 weeksWeight: 10 lbs and growing daily. If you would like to apply to take APOLLO home, click the link next to their picture, or Visit our website at Www.godogsgorescue.org and fill out an application! We look forward to hearing from you. Apollo (tan) and Zeus (black) Are brothers that are about 8 months old and weigh about 28lbs each at the moment They were dumped out on a road and extremely lucky to have been found by someone willing to house them until they can find a home. Apollo looks more black mouth cur, while Zeus is more lab looking. Both boys are extremely handsome! They are good with other dogs, and very affectionate, Apollo is more forward in his approach and more confident whilst Zeus stands back for a minute and watches before putting himself forward. He’s a little more reserved but does warm up quite quickly. They play together as brothers do, all noise and no real action. They are very fond of each other but not bonded. Energy level is about 7/10 on both

Story
adoption donation : $699 weight 40 lbs Age 8 months dob. 1/10/25      Jade is an adorable mixed breed pup who seems to be some kind of black mouth cur mix. . She is a gentle and sweet and loving girl who is just a delight.  Jade and her sisters Josie and Journey  were part of a group of puppies that were sadly being given away for free at a local Walmart in Mississippi. The woman who runs the rescue Wags of Monroe County couldn’t bear to see these puppies going to people with no vetting and so she scooped up the remaining three girls.     Since then, the puppies have thrived, they love to run and play with all the dogs at the rescue and then cuddle up together in a puppy pile to nap. They have all been spayed and have their vaccinations and are all healthy happy girls.    Jaden and her sisters are still in Mississippi, but ready to come up to the northeast in mid October on the transport truck that leaves every Friday from Tupelo. We know these girls will all make wonderful family dogs, but are fine to consider a foster to adopt. Jade is such a gentle, calm girl, we know she will be a loving member of the family.   Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter. Most of our dogs are in Mississippi and come up by Transport, dogs are listed along the Transport route or in an area where we may have volunteers who can help transport the dogs. We do have some of our dogs in foster homes in the northeast, we always need foster homes! For more information on adopting any of our Wags dogs please email mariaeftimiades@yahoo.com      October 13, 2025, 8:23 am
