Robby is the true definition of a “man's best friend” – he loves to be near to his humans and is all sweetness and kisses! He can’t wait to see his people, and loves to be snuggled and scratched behind the ears. One of Robby's most endearing qualities is his cute freckles on his face - he's got a brindle coloration across his nose that looks like freckles! Robby is very smart. He has quickly learned to sit down and not jump up on his human for pets. He is working on new commands now, like sit, and he's a fast learner! Robby sleeps at night in a pen with his foster brother and sister, and he does well at night, sleeping quietly with night-time accidents few and far between. He spends as much as 4-6 hours a day in the yard with his foster brother and sister, and keeps himself entertained when he has to be alone for long periods of time. Meet Buddy – A Gentle Soul Looking for His Perfect Match! Buddy is a senior Ridgeback/Black Mouth Cur mix with a heart full of love and a personality that shines once he feels safe. He may be shy at first and take some time to decompress, but once he’s comfortable, his sweet and gentle nature comes through. Buddy absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys their company. He is both house-trained and crate-trained—in fact, his crate is his happy place! When left alone, he prefers the security of his kennel, and even when his humans are home, he often chooses to relax there with the door open. This lovable senior does well on a leash and would thrive in a quiet, low-energy home with a patient adopter who understands that he needs time to adjust. While he hasn't been around young children, his gentle nature suggests he would be great with them. We don’t know how he is with cats, but he gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Buddy’s favorite toys are anything soft and squishy, and he enjoys the simple comforts of companionship. He would be the perfect match for someone looking for a loving, loyal companion who doesn’t need a high-energy lifestyle.
