Story
Meet Robby! A 3-4 month old Cur mix, Robby is a gentle boy, who just wants the love and affection of his forever home. Robby is the true definition of a “man's best friend” – he loves to be near to his humans and is all sweetness and kisses! He can’t wait to see his people, and loves to be snuggled and scratched behind the ears. One of Robby's most endearing qualities is his cute freckles on his face - he's got a brindle coloration across his nose that looks like freckles! Robby is very smart. He has quickly learned to sit down and not jump up on his human for pets. He is working on new commands now, like sit, and he's a fast learner! Robby sleeps at night in a pen with his foster brother and sister, and he does well at night, sleeping quietly with night-time accidents few and far between. He spends as much as 4-6 hours a day in the yard with his foster brother and sister, and keeps himself entertained when he has to be alone for long periods of time. He is not yet fully house trained, but is a quick study. Robby has loved all the other humans and dogs he has met - including children! His friendly disposition and easygoing nature have endeared him to his foster brothers and sister. He loves to play with balls and ropes, and likes playing tug-of-war with his foster sister Penny. But mostly he is a gentle soul, satisfied to sit in your lap and be loved on. Robby is more than ready to embark on the next chapter of his journey—a journey that he hopes will lead him straight into the loving arms of his forever family! Some of Penny's most adorable attributes are her wrinkly face that crinkles up when she's happy, and her white feet that look like she's wearing socks. Her foster parents also note her love of play - she's a dog's dog who loves to engage in wrestling, racing and tug of war. Penny is a puppy so she is still learning the ropes on manners - but she has been diligently working on learning new things. She is doing great, and working on new commands like sit and lie down. Penny sleeps at night in a pen with his foster brother and sister, and she does well at night, sleeping quietly with night-time accidents few and far between. She spends as much as 4-6 hours a day in the yard with his foster brother and sister, and keeps herself entertained when she has to be alone for long periods of time. Story
Meet Daisy! Daisy is a beautiful 3-year-old, 45-pound Black Mouth Cur mix with a heart full of love and energy to share. She adores dogs and kids, making her a perfect addition to a lively home! This sun-loving girl enjoys lounging outside, running around, and car rides—even after her recent surgery, she handled the trip like a champ. Daisy’s playful nature shines brightest with her fur brother, though she sometimes forgets to pace herself when he’s ready for a break. She’s still learning that not every dog appreciates her enthusiastic jumping, but her excitement is all part of her charm. Daisy is potty trained, knows how to sit, and sleeps soundly through the night in her crate—even if she’d rather keep playing at first! During the day, she’ll sometimes choose to nap there on her own. She’s learning leash manners, but her zest for life makes outdoor adventures very exciting, so she’s working on not pulling so much. She absolutely loves being petted, though she might get a little jealous if another dog gets attention first. Her response? Big, loving eyes that earn her pets every time. When she met her foster mom’s grandsons, Daisy was all wiggles and kisses, showing how much she adores kids. Daisy loves toys but sometimes thinks anything on the floor is fair game—she’s learning to tell the difference. If you’re looking for a sweet, spirited, and affectionate companion who thrives in an active family, Daisy is ready to bring sunshine and love to your home! Story
Meet Buddy – A Gentle Soul Looking for His Perfect Match! Buddy is a senior Ridgeback/Black Mouth Cur mix with a heart full of love and a personality that shines once he feels safe. He may be shy at first and take some time to decompress, but once he’s comfortable, his sweet and gentle nature comes through. Buddy absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys their company. He is both house-trained and crate-trained—in fact, his crate is his happy place! When left alone, he prefers the security of his kennel, and even when his humans are home, he often chooses to relax there with the door open. This lovable senior does well on a leash and would thrive in a quiet, low-energy home with a patient adopter who understands that he needs time to adjust. While he hasn't been around young children, his gentle nature suggests he would be great with them. We don’t know how he is with cats, but he gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Buddy’s favorite toys are anything soft and squishy, and he enjoys the simple comforts of companionship. He would be the perfect match for someone looking for a loving, loyal companion who doesn’t need a high-energy lifestyle. With patience and understanding, Buddy has so much love and potential to share. Are you the kind soul ready to give Buddy the forever home he deserves?
