Story
Juana has a bad past, she was dumped twice in a shelter before I rescued her. It took time for her to trust humans again and need to be patient with her. She is very smart, very active and very loving. She loves the outdoors but she's inside most of the time. Loves toys and chewing bones, she will carry it around everywhere. She's is good in cars and will let you know when she needs to go outside. The perfect forever home would be somewhere where she's allowed to be outside and with someone who will have patience to get to know her and bond with her, once she bonds with you she's very protective and smart and will let you know if anything if off, again very smart. Loves being silly and a little crazy sometimes. She would be the perfect farm dog for a good family!

Story
We got Cannoli from a rescue in Florida. She is the absolute sweetest girl. She doesn’t really like to play with toys but she’s always down for a good cuddle session. When we got her, we only had a two year old at the time, and they got along great! We now have a 4 year old and 1 year old. Cannoli has nipped at our 1 year old when he went on her bed while she was laying there. I get that he was in her space however I don’t want to take any chances. Take away that incident, I haven’t had any issues with her. She loves to sun bathe. She is terrified of storms. She does like to sneak food that is left on the counter if you leave the house. She’s never been in a kennel for the time that I’ve had her. She prefers to go to a home where she’s allowed on the couch / bed. She listens very well. She’s one of those dogs that you can leave the front door open and she won’t run out. If you’re looking for a protection dog, she is not it lol. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Story
Hey there, I`m Apollo and I must say, I`m quite the sweet boy! Although, I have to admit, I can get a bit jumpy at times. It`s not because I`m scared, it`s just because my eyesight isn`t the greatest. So, when something pops up unexpectedly, I get startled and let out a little `whoa!` But don`t worry, all I need is some happy talk to get me back on track. And let me tell you, once I hear a familiar, upbeat voice, my wiggles can`t be contained!I`m a big fan of hugs and love to give them to my friends. And here`s a little secret, it doesn`t take much to become my friend. Just a little bit of happy talk and we`ll be best buds in no time! So get ready for some squishy Apollo hugs, because once you`re in my inner circle, there`s no turning back. When I`m not giving out hugs, I love to lay in the grass with a good chewy. There`s nothing better than feeling the soft blades of grass under my paws while I chomp away on a delicious treat. I also love to go for walks, especially when there are new smells to discover. You see, I have a great sniffer! I can pick up scents from miles away and it`s always exciting to follow my nose and see where it leads me. Maybe it will lead me to you and I being best friends forever!

Story
Meet Margo, the mascot of our unofficial welcoming committee in the adoption area! 💛The moment you approach Margo’s kennel, you’ll be greeted with full-body wags, playful bows, and endless puppy kisses! She’s never met a stranger and firmly believes everyone is just a best friend she hasn’t met yet. This confident, happy-go-lucky pup loves spending time with other dogs and does wonderfully in playgroups. She’s always ready for her next wrestling match, game of chase, or adventure with a canine buddy. We think she’d thrive with a canine sibling, but she’d be just as happy soaking up all of your love and attention as your one and only.If there’s one thing Margo has taught us, it’s that resilience and joy can go paw in paw. After beating the odds and bravely overcoming parvo at just a few weeks old—with the help of the Humane Society and one incredibly dedicated foster volunteer—this sweet girl has made it her mission to soak up every second of life.Margo has already overcome more than most puppies ever should, but you’d never know it by looking at her. Her bright spirit, playful heart, silly personality, and endless capacity for love shine through in everything she does. Now all she’s missing is a family to share those tail wags, puppy kisses, and zoomies with forever. - Katy, HANBA volunteerHSNBA lists all animals online from the moment of intake, and our listings are updated automatically every midnight. Story
Meet Rover – Your Next Adventure Buddy! If you're looking for a loyal sidekick to share life's adventures, Rover is ready to fill that role. This handsome 2-year-old Black Mouth Cur has an athletic spirit, a gentle heart, and so much love to give the person willing to earn his trust. Rover naturally bonds with women and can be a little cautious around men at first, so he'll need a patient adopter who will let him settle in at his own pace. Once he knows he's safe, his true personality shines. He becomes a faithful companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, whether you're headed out for a hike, relaxing at home, or taking a drive around town. This active boy loves playing fetch, running, exploring, and splashing in the water. Lakes, pools, sprinklers—if there's water involved, Rover is all in! He also rides beautifully in the car, walks nicely on a leash, and is always happy to tag along on new adventures. Rover loves other dogs that understand good manners. He enjoys friends who give him a little personal space at first and will quickly become their favorite play buddy. Dogs that constantly crowd him aren't his style, but respectful canine companions bring out his playful, fun-loving side. He's also lived peacefully with cats and chickens. Rover is potty trained, kennel trained, and well-mannered in the home. He could do very well in an apartment with someone who is home much of the day and committed to giving him daily exercise and enrichment. Because he can climb a 6-foot wooden privacy fence, supervised outdoor time or a very secure yard is important. Rover is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and current on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. All he's missing is someone to believe in him. Give Rover the chance he deserves, and you'll gain a loyal best friend for life. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Potential adopters for Beasley should consider his love for outdoor activities and ensure they can provide him with regular walks, playtime, and maybe even some pool time on hot days. It's also great that Beasley gets along with other dogs, although a meet-and-greet with any potential furry siblings would be a good idea to ensure compatibility.
