Story
Pluto is a 6-year-old male who's very playful. He loves playing chase and tug. He would do well in an active family. He is leash trained, crate trained, potty trained, and knows basic commands like sit and stay. He can be left home alone outside of his crate no problem. He spends most of the day sleeping/lounging nearby, occasionally interrupting his chill to bark at squirrels. He is afraid of and barks at loud noises (thunder/fireworks). He has guard dog instincts (e.g., barks at the doorbell and mail van). He plays well with other dogs (e.g., he loves spending time with my in-laws' beagle). He has never ingested non-food items so no vet visits needed! He's very gentle with kids but is 65 pounds and excitable. Available for a 2-yr foster home or permanent rehome. We are relocating overseas to a big urban city and think he'll be happier in a new home. We'll also provide a crate, bedding, 2 harnesses, a leash, and will reimburse reasonable vet bills for 2 years. We move Jan 29th.

Story
Matt was dumped on an FM road at 6 months of age, a good Samaritan took him in and called for help. Matt was adopted at about 1 year old and joined up with his new 'sister' Clara Belle Fergie. His sweet owner, also a dear friend passed unexpectedly in November 2023. Matt and Clara Belle came back here to the rescue. They are wonderful dogs, do well in the house, use a doggy door, playful with Matt can be quite the couch potato or would love to snooze on the bed again. They need a quieter home of their own with room to be outside but access to in. Matt takes a bit to warm up, but is simply happy 'hanging' around and watching tv with his human (s)
