Story
With his big floppy ears and heart of gold, Duke is sure to steal your heart! Duke came to ARF when his owners could no longer care for him. He has a goofy, playful and loving personality that makes him very loveable! Like most hounds, Duke follows his nose with any scent he catches. He loves to run and needs a good exercise and training schedule. Due to this, a fenced in yard is a must for Duke. This gorgeous boy walks well on a leash and would benefit from continued training. He seems to like other dogs, but he would do best with those his size and energy level. Come in today to meet Duke; surely you will fall in love !

Story
Looking for a lean-against-you, big eared, handsome, mellow dog? Come visit Duke!Duke is a beautiful soul who knows "sit," and he's willing to show you he knows "down," although that's not his favorite. His leash manners are pretty good, and volunteers are starting to take him out to our dog park. UPDATE - Duke has discovered the joy of toys! Never mind "Fetch," he's all about batting a ball around with those big feet and lumbering after it. He loves to be petted: brushing him with one hand and petting him with the other is something he really appreciates. Butt rub? Step right up: you supply the rubs and he's got all day. Duke, as far as we know, does need to be an only pet.
