Dipsy is in a foster home in Houston, Texas and can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! Dipsy is a tall, dark, handsome introvert with perfect natural eyeliner, soft soulful eyes, and fur so smooth you’ll want to pet him (please do—he loves a good brushing). He’s a mysterious-but-goofy boy who proudly digs through toy boxes like an archaeologist on a mission to select the perfect one and rolls in the grass like he’s checking into a luxury spa. Dipsy takes time to bond, but once he trusts you, he’ll wake you with gentle paw taps and his deep “Barry White” morning voice. He loves to play—sometimes a little too enthusiastically—so he appreciates help remembering to take cooldown breaks. He gets along great with dogs of all sizes, plays politely with cats when he’s bored, and does best with kids 10+ since he’s still working on toning down his excited “love pinches.” Dipsy is housebroken, crate trained, respectful around food and toys, fantastic in the car, but might steal a snack off the counter. He also loves sliding himself under your desk like a big furry foot warmer, “talks” when you come home like he’s giving you a full recap of his day, and once in a while stares dramatically into the distance as if he’s in an indie film. His ideal home has adults or older kids, ideally another dog friend, and people who enjoy walks, playtime, and letting an introvert unfold at his own pace. Cash is a wonderful 5 year dog. He is very affectionate and cuddly. Thinks of himself as a lap dog. He loves chasing his ball. He needs a home that is active and helps get his energy out. Recently he has developed an issue with anxiety since he lost his primary human. Since hasn't been able to play or cuddle with him he has frustrated energy now that he is less sad. He is a happy cuddler He deserves a great home with someone that can take better care of him than I can.

Cash is a wonderful 5 year dog. He is very affectionate and cuddly. Thinks of himself as a lap dog. He loves chasing his ball. He needs a home that is active and helps get his energy out. Recently he has developed an issue with anxiety since he lost his primary human. Since hasn't been able to play or cuddle with him he has frustrated energy now that he is less sad. Meet Betsy Blue, the wiggly, talkative, piglet-sounding sweetheart you didn’t know you needed in your life. Betsy is about two years old, and while we can’t be certain since she’s a rescue, our best guess is that she’s a Catahoula Leopard Dog and Pittie mix. With her one blue eye and one brown eye, her soft, floppy ears, and her gorgeous coloring, she’s as stunning as she is silly. At first, Betsy can be a little hesitant when meeting new people. She’ll do her signature “drive by bump” just to test you out before deciding you’re worthy of her wiggles. But once she warms up, you’ll see a whole new side of her — joyful, snorty, and downright hilarious. Her foster says she sounds like a piglet when she gets excited, and she’s been known to jump for joy when her favorite people walk into the room. Once you’re in Betsy’s inner circle, you’ll be greeted with wags, wiggles, and plenty of conversation because this girl is a talker. She has no problem letting you know exactly what she wants, exactly when she wants it. She’ll toss them into the air, chase them around, and keep herself entertained with the tiniest of stuffies. Betsy has lived with other dogs in her foster home and, while she can be shy and a little unsure at first, she blossoms once she feels safe. With time and patience, she turns into a playful companion who enjoys running, chasing, and being chased. She’s also done well living with cats, she’s proven herself capable of settling in peacefully with them. She even wrestles with her feline foster siblings!! Almost 5 months old and currently around 25 pounds, Endive is expected to grow into a medium-sized adult, likely in the 40–50 pound range. He’s already showing the kind of balanced, affectionate temperament that makes daily life with him feel easy and joyful. Based on a sibling DNA test, Endive is believed to be a Catahoula, Pittie, and Husky mix — a smart, athletic blend that thrives with both connection and enrichment. He’s currently living in a house with a yard, which he enjoys, but what matters most for Endive isn’t the square footage. It’s consistent exercise, mental stimulation, and people who enjoy engaging with their dog. Jennie has recently just won the award for best hugs. She puts her front legs around you and if for some reason she can’t give you a full on hug, she will just wrap her little paws around your arm, looking deeply into your eyes. Don’t believe us? Guess you will just have to find out for yourself when you come to meet her! Jennie is dog friendly, cat tolerant, and most of all a people lover, kids included! People are just her favorite! She has been around kids as young as 4 years old to 11 years old and you guessed it, she was a huggie girl with them too. She definitely gravitated toward the Elijah, the 11 year old and was so happy sitting next to him, giving him sweet kisses, and inching herself closer for hugs. Even for snuggles on the floor, she loved being snuggled by Elijah and really enjoyed being around his calm energy. She did great with Kobe, the 4 year old too, she just definitely had a favorite. It didn't bother her when Kobe was jumping around, tossing toys, making loud noises or even moving fast unexpectedly, she just sat next to Elijah, watched him, and then went out of her way to go give Kobe a little kiss. Jennie would be a great companion for a family with 1-2 kids, and would be happiest with both kids little bit older or similar to Elijah and Kobe's age difference. She appreciates the way older kids give her a little space to open up and even more so when even smaller humans are around, you know to teach them the ropes sorta thing. She let them dress her up, put silly bunny ears on her, and headbands. One thing that was super cute and she kept on doing, was she kept coming back to Elijah and laying her head on the pillow right next to him! It was so sweet! This girl is definitely ready for movie nights! Her gentle approach with younger kids can even be said with other doggy pals, so we can see her with a more calm sibling that keeps to themselves or maybe even being your one and only! She has formally requested a house with a yard, so if you’re selling a spot in your family, Jennie’s buying! Jennie kept to herself when meeting Biggie the kitty, so he told us she gets the feline friendly stamp of approval! Yay Jennie! Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.
