Cookie Cuddles is a 3-year-old, 64-pound brindle beauty with a whole lot of personality packed into one lovable package. This Plott Hound/Terrier/Staffordshire Bull mix is new to us, but her friends from her previous shelter had plenty of great things to share—and Cookie is already starting to show them off. Cookie is a certified goofball. She’s playful, silly, and proudly vocal, never shy about telling you exactly how she feels. Whether she’s chatting about her day, asking for attention, or reacting to something exciting, Cookie’s expressive nature makes her endlessly entertaining and full of charm. The shelter environment can be a bit overwhelming for her, so we’re still getting to know all her best sides as she settles in. What we do know so far is that she enjoys being around other dogs and has done well with them, though she may appreciate thoughtful introductions and time to decompress. Cookie would shine in a home that loves a dog with character—someone who will laugh at her antics, appreciate her talkative side, and give her the patience and space to fully relax and be herself. If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion who brings energy, humor, and heart into everyday life, Cookie Cuddles might just be your perfect match.

A Gentle Soul Learning What Full Feels Like Turkey Meatball is a brown-and-white, medium mixed-breed boy who looks like he’s been carrying a lot on his heart. He appears to be about 6 years old and is very skinny, suggesting that for a long time he may not have known when his next meal was coming. He was abandoned, and his story is still unfolding with us, but even in these early days, his sweetness shines through. Despite everything he’s been through, Turkey Meatball remains gentle and kind. He looks like a dog who wants to trust and is hopeful that better days are ahead. He seems to know how to sit and does so in his own endearing way, with his legs spread wide, adding a small moment of charm to an otherwise sad chapter of his life. Turkey Meatball looks like a dog who is understandably hungry, both for food and for care, patience, and reassurance. He is very new to us, and we’re still learning who he is, but so far he appears to be a soft-hearted boy who didn’t give up on people, even when people gave up on him. He’s ready for a calmer, kinder chapter with someone who can offer consistency, compassion, and the comfort of never wondering where his next meal will come from again.
