Story
Boone is a very sweet and affectionate dog that loves people. He loves to sleep in and be lazy around the house! He is really good in public and loves to go in the car and into stores. He is normally fine with other dogs but he can be food aggressive and has gotten in fights with only one of our other dogs only when food is around. We have little kids and it scares them. He's also very good at digging and gets out of the yard very easily. Our kids and family are in and out of the gate and doors constantly and he will slip by and run off. He stays on a tether so he doesn’t run off. Would love for him to go to a home with a better walking / exercise routine for him. Our other dogs are very fulfilled running around on our little farm but Boone is not. His nose takes him too far every time. Come meet him! Take him for a walk. He’s super sweet!

Meet APPLE FRITTER! Currently located in AUSTIN TX What could be more perfect than a senior beagle?! Just look at this perfection! At 14 years old, she was surrendered to a high kill shelter after her owner passed away. We rallied to save her, and every volunteer who meets her falls in love. Apple’s foster says she is the perfect girl with so much life in her. She is crate trained, loves people and dogs and cats, and walks lovely on a leash. She loves stuffed toys and doggie buddies. Apple received a thorough work-up at our vet and is in good health given her age. She is hard of hearing but otherwise does not have any major concerns. The vet thinks she has golden years ahead of her!

Meet Bloom! Bloom is a four-year-old, 38-pound beagle beauty with the most impressive bay and a heart that just wants to belong. She came to us from a South Texas shelter where she was on the euth list — now she’s safe, happy, and finally getting to be a dog again. She’s playful, vocal, and full of personality. Bloom has some alpha traits, so she’d do best in a home with a confident or submissive dog. When she first met new friends, she was nervous and unsure (and quite vocal), but after about 15 minutes everyone was playing together — and she loved every second of it. Bloom is ready for her forever family, one that will give her love, structure, belly rubs, and all the yummy treats.
