Story
Duke is a loving guy who weighs just under 70lbs.  He is a sweetheart.  Shy at first but once he opens his heart, he will totally capture yours! His playfulness and energy does not show his age.  He's still got all the pep in his step and loves to play!  Tug of War is his favorite game.  He loves to chase balls and zoom around the yard like a puppy at times.  Duke loves sunbathing, walks great on a leash and does well in the car.  Snacks are definately one of his favoritest things ever. Duke is crate trained, potty trained, knows basic commands and even does well getting his nails done and visiting the vet.He is very treat and toy motivated and it brings him much joy to make his humans happy! NO CATS or small animals for Duke please.  He does well with other, friendly dogs with slow introduction.  He can have intense, playful energy but for the right dog, would make a great companion.  Duke would also be more than happy being the only pet in the home.  Duke prefers older (if any) children.  The "chaos" that sometimes comes with smaller children in a home, make him nervous and he will try to get away from them.  He does great with older or more experienced children. He loves to share the bed with his people, and will always let you know if there is a stranger at the gate or someone at the door!  Duke is big, strong and often clumsy, but he is also a love and a joy to spend time with. He is neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.  Duke is heartworm negative and on ProHeart 12 for heartworm prevention. He is totally set until November 2025! This is lady, she is so silly. She likes to make us laugh. She likes to chase balls, not in a fetch way, she likes to step/jump on them likes she is squishing a bug. She is house trained and walks well on a leash. She is respectful of her boundaries to not get on the bed, go on certain couches or go in certain rooms. She has two other siblings, and they may transition better together if youre interested in more than one. Lady is about 8 years old, still vibrant and full of life and energy. Rhett is a 3-year-old Cattle Dog/Husky mix. He came to us after his previous family had a baby and couldn’t give him the attention he needed. Rhett is playful, friendly, and affectionate. He enjoys other dogs and would thrive in a home with another playful pup (or human) to wrestle and run around with. He’s crate trained, neutered, and doing well with routines—he just needs a person (or family) willing to keep up with his energetic spirit. He is also microchipped! Because of his breed mix, we think Rhett would do best with a large yard or even acreage where he can stretch his legs and explore. Or if you're an outdoors person, he would love that too! He’s smart, curious, and eager to love—he just needs someone to help guide him with patience and positive reinforcement. Rhett may be goofy and a little wild at heart, but he’s got so much love to give. We also can provide his crate, toys, food, medicine, and beds! We are not charging a fee, we just want him to go to a loving home.

I’ve had Bonnie since she was 4 weeks old and she is about 1.5 years old. A new home for her would consist of a big yard and a family that will play with her as much as she wants to play. She’s very high energy and requires a lot of attention. She loves to be in your business and will even try to cuddle with you. A younger couple or a family with older kids that’ll play with her would be good for her.
