Duke is a loving guy who weighs just under 70lbs. He is a sweetheart. Shy at first but once he opens his heart, he will totally capture yours! His playfulness and energy does not show his age. He's still got all the pep in his step and loves to play! Tug of War is his favorite game. He loves to chase balls and zoom around the yard like a puppy at times. Duke loves sunbathing, walks great on a leash and does well in the car. Snacks are definately one of his favoritest things ever. Duke is crate trained, potty trained, knows basic commands and even does well getting his nails done and visiting the vet.He is very treat and toy motivated and it brings him much joy to make his humans happy! NO CATS or small animals for Duke please. He does well with other, friendly dogs with slow introduction. He can have intense, playful energy but for the right dog, would make a great companion. Duke would also be more than happy being the only pet in the home. Duke prefers older (if any) children. The "chaos" that sometimes comes with smaller children in a home, make him nervous and he will try to get away from them. He does great with older or more experienced children. He loves to share the bed with his people, and will always let you know if there is a stranger at the gate or someone at the door! Duke is big, strong and often clumsy, but he is also a love and a joy to spend time with. He is neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. Duke is heartworm negative and on ProHeart 12 for heartworm prevention. He is totally set until November 2025! Dixie was a rescue from an abusive household that I took in a few months ago! She is a very sweet and loving girl. Meet Zuko, your new best friend with a playful personality and floppy ears to match! Zuko is a male 2.5 year old boxer/cattle dog mix that weighs about 40 lbs. He LOVES people and is so smart and eager to please. His favorite games are tug (with a rope or any toy he can manage) and he loves to go on walks and play outside. He loves his stuffies, peanut butter kongs, and carrots. Zuko is crate, potty, and leash trained, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccines. He's good with other dogs and would love a playful friend to wrestle with, but is perfectly content getting attention from human friends only. He is not good with cats. He is curious about but mostly avoids babies/toddlers, but he does well with older children. He would do well with space to run and daily exercise. Zuko is a vocal dog that 'talks' (softly growls) for attention, but he has never been aggressive. He is currently on heartworm preventatives and is heartworm negative. Met Scooter! My husband and I are elementary school teachers and this sweet boy (now affectionately called Scooter) had been hanging around the school playground since the beginning of the year. When Animal Control came and said he would be euthanized that night, we couldnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t let that happen. We scooped him up and brought him to our in laws home in Frisco. He is good with other dogs, cats, and kids! Scooter has been nothing short of wonderful. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s gentle, loving, and great with kids. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s fully potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and has quickly adjusted to being indoors.
