Grayson’s mom favored him but she was small and black. He had siblings who were black, tan, and a sister Drucilla who’s gray like him. Regardless of his breed this fella is a stunner! Grayson is around a year old and looking for his forever home! He is good with other dogs and he is currently enjoying sharing his foster home with RT4P alum Vivi. Story
Duke is a loving guy who weighs just under 70lbs.  He is a sweetheart.  Shy at first but once he opens his heart, he will totally capture yours! His playfulness and energy does not show his age.  He's still got all the pep in his step and loves to play!  Tug of War is his favorite game.  He loves to chase balls and zoom around the yard like a puppy at times.  Duke loves sunbathing, walks great on a leash and does well in the car.  Snacks are definately one of his favoritest things ever. Duke is crate trained, potty trained, knows basic commands and even does well getting his nails done and visiting the vet.He is very treat and toy motivated and it brings him much joy to make his humans happy! NO CATS or small animals for Duke please.  He does well with other, friendly dogs with slow introduction.  He can have intense, playful energy but for the right dog, would make a great companion.  Duke would also be more than happy being the only pet in the home.  Duke prefers older (if any) children.  The "chaos" that sometimes comes with smaller children in a home, make him nervous and he will try to get away from them.  He does great with older or more experienced children. He loves to share the bed with his people, and will always let you know if there is a stranger at the gate or someone at the door!  Duke is big, strong and often clumsy, but he is also a love and a joy to spend time with. He is neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.  Duke is heartworm negative and on ProHeart 12 for heartworm prevention. He is totally set until November 2025! Dixie was a rescue from an abusive household that I took in a few months ago! She is a very sweet and loving girl. I am looking for somebody that can give her a loving home so that she may continue to be happy while we are trying to get into our apartment and are expecting a baby here soon! We cannot afford her any longer as well as the pet deposit to get into apartment. :( She would be a great companion for any household!! She loves the outdoors and sunbathing, and she loves treats and her toys!

Nutmeg is approximately 4 years old and is a red heeler mix. He is always happy and gets along with other dogs and currently lives in a household with a cat. He is moderately playful and willing to follow other dogs leads. Because of his herding instinct he does nip at strangers that come on his turf. We aren't sure how he is with small children but believe he will do well with older ones. Nutmeg is  housetrained, neutered and current on his vaccines. He doesn't like being in a crate so is loose in the house or outside. We feel he would be fine in a one dog family providing his human(s) has the desire and plenty of time to spend with him. A home visit is part of his adoption process so he is available for adoption in the immediate DFW area only. He was raised with children age 6 and up, cats, and other dogs and loves to play. He`s confused and lonely and not sure why he isn`t with his family anymore.

Marble is a petite, friendly, and outgoing girl who’s been through more than she should have. She came a Texas shelter pregnant, and sadly, her newborn puppies were euthanized before we could bring them to safety. Despite that heartbreak, Marble’s spirit shines bright. She loves people, enjoys attention, and seems to get along well with other dogs. Marble is ready to leave her past behind and start a new chapter filled with kindness, comfort, and love. If you’re looking for a sweet companion with a gentle heart and a brave spirit, Marble is waiting to meet you.Unfortunately, Marble is heartworm positive but DRNT will treat her in December and she`ll be totally fine.
