If you were to welcome Roux into your home he`d bring you joy and happiness every day. That`s a promise he can easily keep! He`s lots of fun and always ready to play and have a good time. He loves toys, and it`s very amusing to watch him zoom around and act like a total dork playing with them! Roux is energetic and playful as well as goofy and happy. He`s always excited to see people and make new friends. He enjoys getting attention from people more than he likes anything else. he does also have a great love of treats though and will sit on command for one. He is prone to the zoomies, but he`s also very calm after getting some energy out. Roux gets along great with other dogs, and is very respectful and submissive with them.

I’m KangaRoo but all my friends call me Roo so you can too. I do love playing with them but sometimes it’s hard to keep up so I’m hoping my forever home has calm play mates that are closer to my age or 2 legged babies that want to love on me. I would also be happy as an only child so I can have all the love and attention. My favorite things include all toys, short to medium walks, car rides, and playing with other dogs. Mrs. Alex also got me a pink jacket with my name on it (you can see it in my photos) and I love wearing it on colder days as my fur doesn’t keep me vary warm in the winter. I’ve never met a cat but Mrs. Alex thinks I’d be good in a house with one because I mind my own business and just want to relax with my pack.  KangaRoo’s story: Roo was found at a CrossFit gym near a busy highway when we rescued her. She has hip dysplasia is currently being managed with anti-inflammatories and keeping her on the lighter side of her weight. She is getting Adequan injections to alleviate her hip pain. Roo is nothing but sweet and loving despite her tragic back story and deserves someone that will love her as much as she will love you.  Becuse of her hip pain, she'll need a calmer older companion with slow introduction. Her adoption fee is $200 locally in Houston, TX and $350 out of state (includes health certificate and travel fee). She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and tested heartworm negative. Boscoe is full of energy and just wants something to do. He enjoys playing fetch or "go get it". He is super smart and catches on quickly. I just love the head tilt when he is trying to figure out a new trick or "what are you trying to tell" mode. II can't keep him. I already have two other dogs and right now I just can't afford him since I lost my job. He's about 10 months. Boscoe would do well with someone with a larger back yard. He would even do well on a farm. He loves to work for his treats. I am not an experienced trainer by any means but he learned his name in maybe 3 tries. He knows sit, stay, jump, go get it, up, down, lay down and paw. He doesn't know more just because I haven't had the time to train him. Boscoe is a rescue dog. Found him on the road, emaciated in 9/23. When he gets bored though, he likes to look for cords, rope or wires to chew. This is why it's important that he get play time or exercise time.

Hello everybody, My name is Mica - it means "loved friend". How cool is that??!! So my story is sad one. You see, I spent the majority of my life chained, starving and repeatedly bred. I was constantly on the defense, protecting my young pups and nearly non-existent food as best I could. Thank goodness someone stepped in and turned these awful "waste of air" beings into the authorities. I was now a court ordered seizure. When a dog is seized, it is because they are so neglected that death is eminent. Without intervention, I would have been sent over the rainbow bridge. Thank God for Lucies angels!! My condition was so bad, that I had to stay hospitalized for nearly 2 weeks. Fortunately for me, I was in better shape than the others that I was seized with :( Despite all of this horror, I still have faith in and love people. People like you! I am a dominant female, so I would be best suited for a submissive male, or be an only dog where I can shower my family with love. Being a Lacy, I kinda do like to have a job to do, but not always. I am fun loving and like to run and play. I do have my stubborn moments as well but hey, don't we all?? Inquire about me won't you?? Rocky’s here ready to rock your world! In his own kind and gentle way that is. He’s very sweet and friendly and has great manners. You can tell he’s used to a home environment because he hops right up into the chairs in our play yard unprompted and sits like such a gentleman. He also already knows how to sit and lay on command for a treat. He loves his treats and always takes them gently from your hand. He’s a good listener – especially when there’s a treat on the line! Rocky is quite attentive and focused when you have a treat for him, but he’s also happy to entertain himself. He’s got a lower energy level and comes across as very easygoing. Rocky is a very good boy on leash. He’s easy to leash up and take out, and walks well without pulling. He does sometimes gently jump up on you, but it’s usually to give you a hug or check out the treat you’re holding. Even when jumping up he’s calm and gentle. He’s all about the pets and ear scratches if you have the time. He’s even been known to allow snoot kisses!
