Story
Ozzy has been our best companion for 8 years. He matches the energy of the room. He loves fetch, snacks, hugs and more fetch. Our 4 year old daughter has developed a severe dog allergy after years of no issues and we have to make the difficult decision to rehome Ozzy. He is likely 9 years old, we rescued him 8 years ago and they said he was likely 1 year to 2 years old. NOT good with other animals, but he is great with humans. He does have severe separation anxiety in small apartments, but in larger homes and back yards he does fine. He loves car rides and walks. He knows the difference between "Wanna eat?" And "Wanna go outside?" Please give him a new place to call home. He's been in our family for a long time.

Story
Blue is a stunning but wary Australian Cattle Dog who seems unused to being around people. She’s very timid and working on getting used to being handled, but underneath her fear is a dog who is quietly observing, thinking, and trying her best.Blue prefers to keep her distance from people. She’ll cautiously sniff a hand, take treats gently, and then retreat to a spot where she feels safer. Sudden movements or loud noises can startle her, and she may hunker down or try to dart away when she’s overwhelmed. Despite her nerves, Blue has already shown some improvement. Though scared of having the leash put on it, once it`s on she walks pretty well on it, all things considered. She does sometimes want to stop for a moment to gather her courage though. She does best when things are calm and quiet — when you sit down and move slowly she feels a little more comfortable. She`s always wary and keeps a close eye on you, but with patience she`ll allow you to pet her a bit - but you can tell she`s skittish and doesn`t know what to make of it. Blue is full of potential - she just needs a kind, patient someone to help her achieve it! If you have a quiet home, a gentle heart, and the patience to help a shy dog learn to trust, Blue may be the one waiting for you.

Story
Rocco is a SOULFUL dog who looks you square in the eye as if he understands your thoughts. He's FULL GROWN 1.5- 2 yrs old, 50lbs & only 20" tall at the shoulders. Completely HOUSEBROKEN, OBEDIENCE TRAINED, and doesn't bark, not even at the doorbell! Rocco chases cats but he's HEALTHY, NEUTERED, & VACCINATED. He plays well with any dog- BIG or SMALL and walks nicely on a lead. Chill for his age but loves to play and romp in a neighbor's yard with her Boxer. (We're situated on a golf course and don't have any yard at all.) Breed apps think- mixed with Cardigan Welsh Corgi, Catahoula Leopard, & Kelpie too! --Found in 77067 of Houston during the freeze-- PetLink put us in touch with the owner, unfortunately, he was a teenager who had adopted him as a puppy for free and without asking permission and was returned to the breeder. Who owned him after that is still a mystery, as we've reported him as "found" with shelters and on various platforms without a single inquiry.

Meet Ace - great with kids, super sweet and goofy pup!! Ace is a sweet and loving 10-month-old pup who was surrendered to our group by a family with kids. They had to move out of state and unfortunately couldn't take him along. At 50 lbs, Ace has a gentle and friendly demeanor. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, is crate and house trained, and absolutely loves spending time with people. Ace is neutered, heartworm tested (negative), up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped. We will provide all of his vet records to his new family. You can watch his video here: https://youtube.com/shorts/3RMiJIWelMg?feature=shared If you're interested in adopting Ace or learning more about him, please reach out via email at ALR.ONE.2007@GMAIL.COM for an adoption application.

Story
**Available for foster or foster to adopt** Hi I'm KangaRoo but you can call me Roo or RooRoo if you like. My foster mom says I am the sweetest girl that she has ever met and super smart. My foster mom says that I have something called hip dysplasia in both my hips, not sure what that is but that must be why I experience pain. A couple of months ago, I had surgery on my left hip and have healed from that. It has helped me so much with pain, and getting around. My right hip still is not good, and foster mom said she will explain this more to my new family. But from what I understand, I'll just need to keep working on building muscle in my hind legs and doing some stretching. Just like the humans do as they get older.  I am a super smart girl, and already know sit and how to walk on a leash. I do get excited when I see bunnies on walks but all you have to tell me is leave it and I calm down. My favorite things in all the world are walks with my humans, car rides, and to sunbathe. I also like attention from the humans, and I'll talk to you to get your attention.  You can also check out my foster's social media pages to see some more pictures and videos of me. Tiktok- @fosterpuplife Instagram- @fosterpuplife21 Roo is up to date on shots, spayed, microchipped, tested heartworm negative and on monthly preventative. Fill out an app to meet this deserving girl. Her adoption fee is $100 locally in Houston, TX and can be transported out of state for $250 (includes health certificate and travel fee).  Apply for KangaRoo today and see for yourself how sweet and lovable she is!" https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=SQYPSGVQJune 21, 2025, 10:59 pm
