Meet Sophie, a 3 month old female Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix.Sophie is a soft-hearted sweetheart who’s ready to blossom in a loving home. Sophie came to our adoption center with her littermates after being brought in by Yakima County Animal Control. She’s still gaining confidence and can be a little under socialized at first, but she makes up for it with her gentle nature and love of affection. With positive reinforcement training, patience, and plenty of TLC, Sophie is expected to adapt quickly and grow into a wonderful family companion.This pet is available for adoption on 2/13/2026 12:27 PM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal, please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854.Ready to adopt? Great news—our spayed/neutered pets are available to go home the same day!
