Story
Sunny is a sweet girl who needs space to roam around. She is very energetic and needs to let it. She's had to move from home to home and so she does take time to adjust as does any dog. We've been re training since we got her with things like pulling on the leash and barking at other dogs (excitedly), as well as nervous peeing. She needs someone able to afford the costs as well as have patience with her. She’s an anxious dog as well as incredible affectionate one. She’s gone from home to home and most recently a friend couldn't have her anymore so we’ve been fostering about 4 months now and it’s become too expensive and our schedules have shifted so we will not have the time to properly care for her.

Story
Daisy Girl is one of the sweetest Bluetick Coonhound dogs you will ever meet.  She is a young 19 month old girl that just wants a little corner of happiness to share with a wonderful family.  Life started out hard for her and she was put out on a horrible chain at the age of 6 months and left there and ignored.  She is delighting at her new life with the foster family and we have promised her a great forever life with people who will love her.   All she wants is to run free in a fenced yard and to get a few kind pets on the head and loving, kind words.  Daisy Girl has such an amazing personality and is so easy going and CALM!  She is quiet in a crate and is only 42 pounds and not going to grow any bigger.  She is not timid at all but gentle and easy going with her tail that never stops wagging.  She likes cats and dogs alike and would be their best friend forever.   If you want a GREAT red headed dog then there is no better than our girl Daisy.   If you are interested in this gem of a dog please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.September 24, 2023, 2:44 pm

Nibo is a good lookin’ friendly boy who really showed off in his "glamor shots" photo session.  He does well with other dogs, and would enjoy a yard to run around in--maybe yours!  Nibo walks well on leash and has been very gentle with children he has met at our adoption events. If you are looking for a more mature buddy, Nibo would love to meet you!Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/  or email our Foster Coordinator at  foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSponsor Me!    Make a  tax-deductible donation  today by visiting us at http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/donate/  . . Harvey is our resident love bug. He wants nothing more than ear scratches and belly rubs. Harvey will nudge you ever so gently to get your attention for more rubs. He has good leash manners and enjoys going on walks. Harvey also enjoys jogging with his human companions. He is good with other dogs when introduced properly. Harvey would do best in a home with children over the age of 6. He is crate trained and house trained.  He is part blue tick hound which gives him a cute, unique barkish howl.  Make Harvey your companion for life.  Harvey is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and altered.Harvey is located in Harper, Texas but can be transported to any location in the US or Canada for adoption. ##1499366##
