Story
Meet Oakley Oakley is a 4-year-old male Bluetick Hound who was surrendered through no fault of his own. This handsome boy is as sweet as they come and has been winning over staff with his gentle, affectionate nature. Oakley does best as the only dog in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention he deserves. His previous owner noted some separation anxiety, but we’re already seeing positive improvement here at the shelter as he settles into a routine and builds confidence. He’s a typical hound at heart—curious, loving, and happiest when he’s near his people. Oakley has shown no issues in our care and continues to show us what a wonderful companion he can be. With a patient and understanding home willing to continue working with him, Oakley will thrive and become a deeply loyal best friend. Looking for a devoted companion? Oakley is ready to meet you.

Story
CURRENTLY LOCATED IN HAGERSTOWN, MD Meet Boomer! Boomer is a stunning 7 to 8-year-old Bluetick Coonhound with a classic hound look and a heart ready for a new beginning. Weighing around 70 pounds, he's a big guy who's currently on a diet to slim down a bit and feel his best. Boomer is dog-friendly and loves people, but he’s absolutely not a fan of cats—he's a little too interested in them for comfort. He came to us as a stray and likely lived a life of hunting, but those days are behind him. Boomer is more than ready for the good life: soft beds, long naps, and a family to call his own. He came to Saving Webster Dogs in September 2024 and has been patiently waiting for his forever home ever since. Now living in a foster home, Boomer is doing well and showing what a sweet, laid-back companion he can be. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving hound with plenty of life left and a deep appreciation for home comforts, Boomer might be the one. If interested, please submit our adoption application located at the bottom of the page.

Story
He's a very good boy, still has a lot of energy, but can also calm down and be cuddly. I've been diagnosed with autoimmune diseases in the past year and I have other chronic illnesses that have made it hard to keep up with his energy. We live in a townhouse with a small fenced yard, but he would do much better with a bigger yard. He's very curious about other animals and people, but he has never been aggressive. Really a sweet, goofy boy that loves attention. It's been a very hard decision to rehome him, but I know I physically can't care for him the way he deserves. I want to make sure he's going to a loving forever home that will appreciate his energy.

Story
Banjo is a lovey big goofball. We had two dogs and unfortunately his brother passed away. He needs to be able to run and we are not currently able to fence in our property. He is 75 lbs and did great with our other dog when he was here. When we adopted him he came from a home where he was primarily outside. He is kennel trained, and is part hound, so he follows his nose.

Story
. Harvey is our resident love bug. He wants nothing more than ear scratches and belly rubs. Harvey will nudge you ever so gently to get your attention for more rubs. He has good leash manners and enjoys going on walks. Harvey also enjoys jogging with his human companions. He would do best in a home where he is the one and only. He is selfish and wants all the loving for himself. Harvey would do best in a home with older kids. He is crate trained and house trained.  He is part blue tick hound which gives him a cute, unique barkish howl.  Make Harvey your companion for life.  Harvey is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and altered.Harvey is located in Harper, Texas but can be transported to any location in the US or Canada for adoption. ##1499366##
