Story
If you are looking for a beautiful, gentle, quiet and loving girl who just wants to be wherever you are, you may have found your match. Barbie was brought into the shelter while pregnant – all of her puppies were adopted but she was left behind. She really just wants to love and be loved. We think her coloring is absolutely beautiful – maybe with some Blue Heller in her? Barbie is a medium sized dog who is really no trouble at all and gives so much in terms of affection and companionship. She is about two years old and is fully vaccinated and spayed. She loves to have fun, but is perfectly happy hanging around the house with her humans. Lying on the sofa helped us watch tv or read is one of her favorite activities. Come and meet her if you’d like and you just might fall in love.

Story
. Harvey is our resident love bug. He wants nothing more than ear scratches and belly rubs. Harvey will nudge you ever so gently to get your attention for more rubs. He has good leash manners and enjoys going on walks. Harvey also enjoys jogging with his human companions. He would do best in a home where he is the one and only. He is selfish and wants all the loving for himself. Harvey would do best in a home with older kids. He is crate trained and house trained.  He is part blue tick hound which gives him a cute, unique barkish howl.  Make Harvey your companion for life.  Harvey is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and altered.Harvey is located in Harper, Texas but can be transported to any location in the US or Canada for adoption. ##1499366##

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.NOTE- FRANK IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR ANOTHER RESCUE ORGANIZATION.  PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW.HEY THERE, HOUND LOVERS!Meet Frank! Frank is a middle aged, coonhound who needs all the help he can get to find his forever home! 75 pounds of joyful, exuberance can be too much for some people to handle! Frank the Tank is looking for a home with a fenced in yard to romp and play! He's gotten along well with female dogs and would be happiest with an active dog to play with. Frank is HOUSETRAINED and is working hard to maintain his manners even though he is now kenneled. In his former home, he slept in the bed was a well behave, loving roommate!Frank is not going to be a fit for every home (NO CATS FOR SURE!) but we only need to find one big hearted, hound savvy, dog lover to give him is happy ending!Frank's status is somewhat TIME SENSITIVE as he is fostering with our president who cannot provide long term care for another dog at this time.A reduced adoption fee of $100 does apply for Frank, our seniors, special medical and behavioral needs dogs and other 'slow to adopt' dogs!Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue.
