Story
Janet is the mom to our current litter of puppies, so she has been hard at work caring for her large and quickly growing family! We are still learning about her personality because being a full-time mom takes all of your energy. But so far she seems pretty laid back, mostly interested in smelling all the smells and building nests out of leaves in the yard. She has recently taken up sunbathing as a hobby. She will be available around April once she's done nursing and she's healthy enough to spay. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an application.  We do allow out of state adoptions and any transport costs are at the expense of the adopter.  If you have further questions about this dog, please email us at ccradopt@gmail.com and someone will be in touch as soon as possible. Please note we are unable to hold dogs for adopters as this ties up valuable foster homes. Please understand that we are an all volunteer group and we have jobs outside of this organization.  We do our best to provide quick responses but occasionally they are a little slower.  If you do not receive a response in 48 hours, please resend to make sure it's received. ##1983347##

Story
Valentina has not had an easy life, as shown by the damage in 3 of her 4 legs. Despite whatever she has been through, she is just the sweetest little girl, although understandably a bit unsure of things. She finds comfort in other dogs and is dog, cat, and kid friendly. Her rear leg has been broken in multiple places and healed, and she uses it. It has been evaluated by an orthopedic specialist who recommended to leave the leg as is because it's not causing her pain and she uses it. She deserves to know love and safety for the rest of her life. Also - she has the cutest underbite! **This dog is heartworm positive and will be treated by the rescue and will be available for foster to adopt for a local family in or near Charleston, SC that is comfortable with the restriction requirements for the duration of treatment. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an application.  We do allow out of state adoptions and any transport costs are at the expense of the adopter.  If you have further questions about this dog, please email us at ccradopt@gmail.com and someone will be in touch as soon as possible. Story
Loretta has been through so much in her short life. At only 4 months old she was taken from a hoarding situation with five of her siblings. Then she sat in the shelter for SIX MONTHS!! We kept waiting to hear that she had been adopted but she wasn't, and we simply didn't have room. Well, we finally had an opening and just knew we had to get this girl OUT and show her how amazing life can be.  Loretta is thriving in a home with multiple other dogs, cats, and a toddler and she's pretty sure she's in heaven. She's submissive and loves to play. Loretta can't wait to find a forgever family of her own.
