Story
Toby is still looking for a family to call his own! At 8 years old, this handsome Bluetick Coonhound/Boston Terrier mix is ready to enjoy the good life with someone who appreciates a loyal and easygoing companion.
Toby is potty trained, crate trained, and has excellent manners in the home. He can be trusted to free roam because he is non-destructive and knows how to behave. He enjoys walks, naps, spending time with his people, and keeping watch over the squirrels in the yard, especially when he gets the chance to chase them.
He gets along well with other dogs and is even cat friendly. Toby would do best in a home with children ages 7 and older.

Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee
Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee
Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
