Hi there! My name is Zeus, and I have a tale to tell. I was left tied up and alone outside of TLP Headquarters, but thankfully, the rescue took me in and is helping me learn about love, trust, and manners. I'm a young, very active guy, so my ideal family would be one that loves the great outdoors—hiking, exploring, swimming, and playing fetch. Oh, and I absolutely love balls! I've got to be honest with you—I'm not a fan of my crate. I'm trying to learn that it's my very own "condo," but it's still a work in progress. My trainer says I have a lot of puppy tendencies like jumping (we're working on that), chewing on bones, getting the zoomies, and still need guidance to understand my boundaries. My trainer also says I’m a natural when it comes to exploring my environment with my nose. (Could be the tick hound in me) And that I want my human to guide me and give me direction. This is the way I create a bound and it’s very important to me. I really am a sweet boy that craves human affection and would love to be in a home with other doggos, kiddos, and of course, my adult humans. Together we can have the best happily ever after! Boone is a 2 year old bluetick coonhound/german mix. He’s a very affectionate and loving dog and always wants to be around you. He is very hyper but really good on walks. I got him when he was 6 months. I had a house with a yard but now I have an apartment. He’s very cooped up and it’s not fair to him. On top of that I have to start traveling for work and will be gonna weeks at a time. Also unfair to him. I just want him to go to a loving home where he can get the attention he deserves and have some room to play, because he LOVES to play.

Ragnar is an absolute love bug. If you want a dog that wants to just follow you around and lounge around this is absolutely your dog. He is roughly 2.5 years old, purebred Bluetick. I love him to death but he has a serious barking problem that is costing me quite a bit when it comes to citations. We have tried barking collars, silencer tools. Nothing has worked so far. So he will need to go to someone that lives in a rural area or has the time to train it out of him. We have young children in the house and he is perfect with them. He has never shown an aggressive bone in his body, except when we had a contractor walk into our backyard unannounced. 😂

Wrangler is being fostered in PA. Wrangler has some limited vision. 3/24/2025 Wrangler has been doing much better in the crate when his foster has to go out for a while. His wire crate is next to the xpen of another dog so he is not alone and he loves Himalayan chews, so gets one while in his crate. His house training has gotten much better. He goes to the door when he has to go potty to let you know. His foster is starting to try teaching him to use bells on the door. Will see how that goes. Wrangler is such a sweet boy and so loving. Wrangler is a sweet 4-month-old Husky/Catahoula Leopard Dog mix. His vision isn’t perfect, but he does have some sight. His eyes did not develop properly. But it doesn’t stop him from enjoying life to the fullest. He loves to play with other dogs and loves to cuddle with humans. He would do well in a home with other dogs to play with, and a fenced yard to run around in. Wrangler is a smart puppy and is learning commands quickly. He got a late start at potty training and learning commands but picking things up. He loves toys and nylabones to chew on. He also loves to chew on antlers and anything else hard. Wrangler does not like being left alone in a crate, so he has been sleeping with the other dogs and his foster Mom and doing well. He will sleep through the night with someone in bed. Wrangler will make a wonderful addition to a family and bring lots of laughs and joy and love. He is still growing so has plenty of time to learn so much and become a great dog for a loving family. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Ulti is a 4 month old Catahoula Leopard/Husky puppy, she is both blind and deaf. Ulti is sweet, loving and a happy little girl that loves to play with other dogs and is quite the cuddle bug. Ulti likes to explore her surroundings and investigate everything. Ulti does not like to be alone. She is currently working on her potty training and basic commands. She sleeps in the big bed with her foster parents. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
