Need to rehome River since we have an infant around. She is around 7-8 years old and sleep around the house mostly but recently has showed signs of being territorial with her bed/food around our new baby. She’s never showed signs of aggression with us or with children prior, so it’s a bit of a surprise. Additionally, we haven’t had as much time to take her on walks which is her absolute favorite, close second is chasing rabbits.She is a wonderful companion that loves to smell everything. Big sun bather!Hoping to find the right home for her, very sad time for us.

Toby is still looking for a family to call his own! At 8 years old, this handsome Bluetick Coonhound/Boston Terrier mix is ready to enjoy the good life with someone who appreciates a loyal and easygoing companion. Toby is potty trained, crate trained, and has excellent manners in the home. He can be trusted to free roam because he is non-destructive and knows how to behave. He enjoys walks, naps, spending time with his people, and keeping watch over the squirrels in the yard, especially when he gets the chance to chase them. He gets along well with other dogs and is even cat friendly. Toby would do best in a home with children ages 7 and older. If you are interested in adopting Toby, please submit an adoption application at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a home check *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##438611##

My wife had a ranch near Glen Rose and when she sold the ranch she moved into Dallas with June and another Catahoula, a male named Roman. The yard we have is tiny and June needs room to run. Roman was already pretty lame in the hips, so it didn't matter to him, but June was used to chasing around a large ranch. Roman passed away early this year and June is really out of sorts, moping and just laying around and getting overweight. We are trying to find a new home for June, one where she has someone or some other dog to play with and preferably a lot more land.
