Cooper is a 4-year-old Bluetick Coonhound with a big personality and an even bigger heart. We adopted him when he was around 1–2 years old, and he’s been the most loyal, loving companion ever since. He’s up to date on all his vaccinations and takes regular flea/tick preventative. Cooper is incredibly social—he gets along wonderfully with people and other dogs. He especially thrives in a home with other pups to play with, as he has lots of playful energy to share. As a working breed, Cooper would do best with some space to run and explore—he’d be in heaven on a property with land or a big yard. When he’s all tuckered out, Cooper transforms into the sweetest cuddle bug. He loves hugs, snuggles, and being as close as possible to his humans. We’re devastated to be rehoming him, but due to unforeseen circumstances, we’re moving from a house to an apartment without a yard. Ellie is a wonderful, beautiful and very smart dog. She gets along with other dogs very well, but can be a handful around smaller dogs. She does not know here own size, but dogs her size are just fine. She does not have a bad bone in her body. She loves chewing on her kong, earning her treats. She is leash trained and knows several hand signals. We are still working with her on checking in regularly. She has not been around kids, but cannot imagine that will be an issue with her temperament. Ellie is deaf and has received professional training from On the Ball K9 Training in Denton, TX. She will stay on your side but can get distracted. She will sit and stay when told and is pretty content on her "place" as long as she has some entertainment. She is crate trained and sleeps in a crate. Her favorite activity is going on long walks, but even more, she will play fetch with you until she absolutely wears herself out. And then, once you think she has had enough, she is ready for some more. She loves fetching tennis balls and ropes throws...and will bring them back to you almost all of the time, unless she gets distracted. She will then sit when you tell her and release the toy for another round. Ellie was born mid-2015 and weighs approx 90 pounds. ##628903##
