Story
-ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 75 lbs -ESTIMATED AGE: 4 years old -KNOWN WITH DOGS: LOVES playing with dogs at the dog park!! Shared a home with a smaller dog just fine. Will sometimes bark in excitement when she sees another dog on leash because she wants to meet them SO bad (behaviorist suggested barrier frustration) -KNOWN WITH CATS: Will bark and lunge at cats when seen on walks -KNOWN WITH KIDS: Maisie has been exposed to kids most of her life, and has some moments of great patients with toddlers and other moments of impatience and high energy that is a bit too big considering her size! She does have resource guarding tendencies though has never bit anyone. She should be monitored when around children at all times and crated when she is being fed or when others are eating. -KNOWN CUES: Sit, Down, Heel, Shake, Go to your crate. -KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: Maisie is House trained and Crate Trained!! Maisie is accustomed to being left during the work day without being crated having free roam of the home. -KNOWN LIKES: Playtime with other pups, hanging with her people -KNOWN DISLIKES: Being crated for too long, when people try to disturb her when she wants to be left alone. Maisie is a very sweet dog who has great energy! She is a great dog to have if you work out of the home but do fun energetic things in the evenings and weekends. Story
Meet Milo — Our Sweet Blue Tick Coonhound Mix. Milo is a 2-year-old, 52-lb bundle of love — playful, spunky, loyal, and a total couch potato after a good hike, mud bath or ball session. He’s house- and crate-trained, leash-trained, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. Milo loves daycare, playing with most dogs, and soaking up the sun. He can be shy or timid with some dogs and is still learning to feel comfortable on neighborhood walks. He’s strong, so his ideal home is one with space to run — a yard, acreage, or farmland would be perfect. He enjoys car rides, brain games, cuddling in bed, barking loud and proud at the world, and especially chewing his bones. Milo needs someone patient, home often, and committed to continuing his socialization and training. If you can offer Milo the love, time, and freedom he deserves, please reach out to learn more.
