Hello, my name is Rusty. I’m a breeder release and life is still pretty new and a little overwhelming for me, but with time and kindness, I’m learning what it means to feel safe and loved. I’m shy around people because I didn’t get much socialization early in life. But don’t worry—once I warm up, I become shyly playful, especially with my foster mom. I’m still figuring out this whole “being loved” thing, and patient humans make all the difference. However, I also do not like being without them near, and need someone who is home most of the day. I live with cats and dogs. I can be a little picky with my playmates. I prefer female dogs. My potty training is still a work in progress, but I’m trying my best every day. I am not currently leash trained but working on it. I have not pottied on a leash. Best in a fenced yard. Kids may be too much for me as fast movements scare me. So no kids please. At just two years old, these girls are still young, playful, and full of life — but they also know how to settle in and simply enjoy being loved. Molly, the poodle mix, is sweet, affectionate, and full of happy energy. She absolutely loves playing with toys and thrives when she has room to romp and have fun. She enjoys playing with other dogs and brings a joyful, upbeat presence wherever she goes. After playtime, she’s more than content to relax, soak up attention, and curl up close. Zoe, her adorable Chihuahua mix bestie, is her steady companion. She shares Molly’s playful spirit and enjoys toys and time with other dogs just as much. The two of them interact so naturally — playing, exploring, and then settling down side by side when the excitement winds down. They get along well with other dogs and would do wonderfully in a home that appreciates both fun, active moments and peaceful cuddle time. While they do not have to be adopted together, there is something incredibly heartwarming about the comfort and confidence they give one another. Meet Chablis 💛 Chablis is a 14-year-old Bichon with the softest heart and the gentlest soul. He recently returned to rescue through no fault of his own—his beloved owner’s health declined, and they could no longer care for him. It’s clear he was cherished, and now he’s simply hoping to find another quiet home where he can feel safe and loved again. This sweet senior is all about the simple things in life: a cozy bed, a calm routine, and someone to sit beside. He absolutely enjoys cuddling and will happily nestle in close for some peaceful companionship. He’s not demanding—just grateful. Chablis can do stairs like a champ, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and is also good with cats. In fact, he does best with another dog in the home. Having a furry friend nearby seems to bring him comfort and confidence. He is potty trained but will also use potty pads. He is leash trained. He qualifies for our Senior for Senior program, making him an especially lovely match for someone looking for a calm, devoted companion to share their days.
