Story
DOB: 7/28/22 King Arthur and Sir Lancelot are unbelievably handsome brother cats.  They are destined to bring great happiness and joy to some lucky person, because these boys are amazing!  Not only are they handsome as the day is long, but they're absolutely hilarious (they forget sometimes that they're royalty).  They're total goofballs and they engage in all sorts of antics together.  They're very bonded and love to play and race around and go exploring.  But they're also very well behaved -- extremely responsive and intelligent and loving.  They're gentle and smart and they just LOVE attention.     King Arthur is what you would call a LOUD MOUTH (perhaps because he's so wise he has to pontificate now and then).  He's so funny when he talks, you just can't help laughing.  And we all know how healthy laughter is!  Lance is a little shyer than Arthur, but he's also incredibly affectionate.  He follows his brother around and both of them come running when you call them.  They exude so much joy and enthusiasm just to be near their human.   These two black beauties spent four months at a high-kill shelter.  It's completely shocking, but nobody wanted them.  Then, on Giving Tuesday, Kitten Rescue got all the cats out of that shelter -- all except these two.  They ran out of fosters and with great sadness had to leave them behind, until at the last minute, someone stepped up to foster them, and these two remarkable cats were saved.  Phew!     Now these two amazing brother cats will live out their lives in safety and security, adored by their new humans and in turn adoring them back.  Will you be the lucky ones?!   If you are interested in learning more about these kitties or in adopting them, please click here to email their foster parent. If you are unable to send an email to the foster parent through the link included above, please contact us and let us know what kitty you're interested in.  You may also fill out our adoption questionnaire to speed up the screening process.  Be sure to name the cat in the CAT PREFERENCE field at the beginning of the questionnaire. Story
DOB: 8/23/23 If you are looking for a devoted and fun-loving companion, you will love this handsome kitten! As a newborn, Monster was left in a box with a respiratory infection and severely malnourished. But this little monster was nursed back to health and now he shows his gratitude to humans every day with snuggles, little tiny love bites, and all-night purring. He continues to thrive and is now built like a puma, with long legs, big paws, a muscular body, and a shiny coat. Two crooked kinks in his tail are the only reminders of his first days on the street. He loves to play—whether it’s chasing a ball on a stick or wrestling like the “monster” that he is with his foster siblings. With his humans, he is like Velcro: he loves to snuggle and purr. He is most affectionate after meal time, galloping over to his human after the last bite to show his gratitude with cuddles. If you are interested in learning more about this kitty or in adopting him, please click here to email his foster parent. Story
Meet Stitch, a four- month-old male Bombay kitten. Stitch is a very playful and loving kitty. Aside from his naps, you will always find him wrestling his foster peers or playing soccer with his toys. Stitch loves to cuddle as well and is a big purr machine. Whenever you try to stop petting him, he will be vocal about it and ask for more! Stitch is used to being around cats of all ages, and he will surely need a playmate to help him exert his energy. Stitch has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, flea treated, and vetted.

Story
This gorgeous House Panther was born in May of 2011, in the attic of a home in Sherman Oaks, CA. He and his brothers were only around 4 or 5 weeks-old, at the time. They had fallen through the attic floor and landed behind a wall in the living room! The homeowners ended up cutting an opening in the wall to get them out! We do know his Mama was a feral, Siamese Snow Shoe (short-haired) and he has some of the classic Sia features. Although Abbott received the same amount of socialization and play time, as his brothers, he never fully tamed and remained on the shy, scared side. When it comes to the other male cats, in the house however, Abbott is probably the most popular... always in the center of the attention. All the others love to play, wrestle, cuddle and sleep with Abbott! This handsome fella is playful, smart, and affectionate with a coat that's shiny like silk. His build is lean and muscular. Abbott can be social around his favorite human (me) and will hop up onto the bed to play with stringy toys. Once he gets going, he plays with complete abandon. His weakness is freeze-dried Chicken treats and will gently eat them from your finger tips or even your lips. But if he thinks you're going to touch or pick him up he may run. He knows his name and communicates like any other cat - that's connected to a human... except in the areas of touch. Please... won't you give this deserving boy a loving home? He'd make an excellent companion for another friendly, playful, young male (or two). *The video uploaded was shot when he was still a young kitten... but you can see how sweet and gentle he is. Abbott's adoption will include his: * Neuter, * De-worming, * FVRCP vaccinations, * Rabies vaccination, * Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative), * Flea and mite treatment (with Revolution), * and Micro chipping! *You can also find his complete rescue story, photo and video updates on our Facebook page: Save The Leadwell Kitties (or type in "2TheResQ" in the search bar). Please only contact us if you will be making him a permanent members of your family and will be keeping Abbott SAFE INDOORS. ~ $100. adoption fee for Abbott. Adoption contract and home check apply ~ Interested in becoming a much-needed foster? Please send us a message with your best contact info, the type of home environment you can provide and, most-importantly, the City in which you live. Thanks!!
