Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meko is a sweet boy who is shy at first and needs some time to warm up. If there’s a lot going on, he will find a quiet spot away from the action to catch some shut eye.  He has a luxuriously soft black coat, with a small white patch on his chest. He gets along with other friendly cats & dogs, but would do best in a quieter home.  Meko is very food motivated and will be looking out for mealtimes, but he won’t yell at you like some other cats do if you’re a couple minutes late. He might start eating out of the can though if you don’t spoon out the wet food fast enough. He’s a gentle kitty and would love a quiet and cozy home of his own. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. MINI PANTHER ALERT! This is Miss Mousse and she is the shyest of the  French Sweeties litter but she is the most tender and loving little girl ever. She absolutely stressed out and will hide if you chase her, but for the worthy special few who sit patiently near her with a soft fluffy blanket, you will be greatly rewarded with lap naps, a hefty dose of purring, some air biscuits, a proper display of all of her black velvety toe beans and, if you are lucky, very lucky, you will be delighted to see the piece de resistance, the ever elusive, peek of her pretty pink tongue! She needs a quiet home, sheltered from loud people who feel the need to chase her or pick her up but rather the one who knows with trust the joys of love from a more discerning, refined, reserved kitten.  Apply www.Dreamar.orgVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 25, 2024, 1:39 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meow there! My name is Jessamine, and let me tell you, life is a big ball of fun for a kitten like me! I may be a little panther in the making (well, a very tiny panther!), but don't let my sleek black fur fool you - I'm all about snuggles and playtime. Speaking of playtime, I'm a champion toy chaser. Is it a feathery toy mouse, a bouncy plastic coil, or a jingle ball that tinkles like a dream? Bring it on! I also love hanging out with my brothers and sisters, wrestling and batting at each other until we all collapse in a purring heap. But don't worry, I know how to play nice too. I always use my litter box (no mess here!), and I'm not too picky about my food - every meal is a delicious adventure! When I'm not busy exploring the world, you can find me perched on a branch of my cat tree, surveying my kingdom, or napping in the cozy comfort of my cat tunnel. Wouldn't you love to have a playful, cuddly panther-in-training like me as part of your life? If so, head over to dreamar.org and fill out an adoption application today! I can't wait to meet you and give you all the purrs and head boops your heart desires. See you soon, Jessamine (the cuddle monster extraordinaire!)Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 25, 2024, 1:39 pm

Story
An Overall Great Cat!We describe Cleopatra as a Bombay-look and call her “Cleo”. She is highly spoken of by her rescuer that says she is a rare “find” at a feral cat colony feeding station! She just sauntered right out of the trap after having been spayed instead of running away like a rocket like a wild cat. Who knows how she ended up out on her own but we are thankful that such a nice cat could find help and be rescued.   To people feeding feral cats, a tipped ear signals to the people feeding feral cats that the cat has been spayed or neutered. That’s why Cleo’s ear is tipped. If you are looking for a really sweet and wonderful cat that gets along with other cats and is easy going, affectionate and playful please inquire about her. She kneads her paws often showing her happiness to just be looking at you and is eager to enjoy your company or be included with your guests. All cats need time to adjust to a new home. Cleo may hide for a bit of time until she feels safe. But we are confident that she will adjust and become part of your family soon. STEPS TO ADOPTION:  I'm DiAnna and I can help you with information and arrange a meeting in the caregiver’s home.  However, we like to get to know the potential adopter before formalizing an application to discover if the cat of interest is a good fit. Some cats like getting all the attention and do best with people at home, some don't want to live with other cats and some don't like dogs and children. We want everyone to be happy! I know all the cats in our network and can speak with you about your search after I get to know you.  COVID has changed the way we do things so the interview process starts with you sharing in your inquiry about yourself, others in the home or others that visit regularly, current pets and about the ones that you have had in the past and where they are now. Your work schedule is important, and what lifestyle you plan for your pet; indoor only, indoor, but allowed out sometimes, indoor / outdoor.  I look forward to hearing from you and getting to know you. I am available to speak with you by phone and help you with your search but after you introduce yourself.    Then we proceed to a formal application and we accept short video clips of yourself, others in the home and the areas of your home that the cat will have access to.  A LITTLE ABOUT US: “We Specialize in “Pet-quality, Friendly, Sociable Cats and Kittens that Live in Private Homes with People That Love Them!” You, too, could become a foster parent to a cat, or a kitten litter! Just ask! It is super rewarding and a nice way to get to know cats before you adopt! Community Animal Network believes that all young beings enjoy the action of playing with another. Kittens adopted in pairs with their BFF or, “equal energy playmate” are happiest when having friends to play with. Just like all young beings rough and tumble together making it fun to watch, too.  This kitty is being cared for by Community Animal Network, a non-profit organization founded by DiAnna Pfaff-Martin in 1996. C.A.N is a veterinary medical rescue with a vet internship program for aspiring veterinarians as young as 15 years old. The founder of Community Animal Network, DiAnna Pfaff-Martin, is very particular about the quality of raising the kittens with vitamins, proper diet. A board-certified feline specialist provides the animals with their veterinary medical care and Community Animal Network offers veterinary internships to young people as young as 15 that have aspirations of becoming a vet.  Feral kittens are tamed to "pet quality" and rescue cats that are shy are disclosed and termed, "rescue quality" with a lower placement fee. With all adoptions DiAnna Pfaff-Martin gives valuable information about cat care in a "feline pet-parenting consultation" to adopters. The most current information is made available about how to keep your cat healthy, pet foods, litters and how to make your cat more affectionate and her specialty is teaching, “How To Make Cats Happy!” The AVID microchip is implanted in every cat and the chips’ registration fee is included in the adoption and the animals come with a 30-day heath commitment and return policy. Story
The cat family was raised in a private home and well-cared for. ily!I'M JAVA THE SWEETEST KITTEN. I look like a Bombay breed cat. People say I am a gentle kitten with a mellow attitude and I know that I’m very lady-like. I’m told that I take after my mom with a calm personality. My sibling Daisy (Black & White with a cute mustache) is my best friend and she is really outgoing.  I let Daisy take the lead and she will run up to everyone and I’m always right behind her to say “Hi”, but I like to observe the scene for a moment before stepping in when meeting new people. I am very polite and let my sister Daisy begin eating first but when it comes to play, I am “hunting” my toys and run from one side of the room to the other practicing my “prey skills’ to get them! My favorite thing is to run and slide on the wood floor… “Wheee, What Fun!” When I’m not playing, I’m cuddling with my Mom Bella, or my sister. I like to be held and cuddled.  I’m sure when you meet me that you will agree that my fur is so soft and you will never want to put me down. Community Animal Network didn’t separate us from our mom like others do. I’ve had a good upbringing and been nurtured and have had a good healthy start with mothers’ milk and my mom was provided with good nutrition when she was pregnant and not found starving like so many other moms.   For more info, call or text DiAnna at 949-759-3646 or email at DiAnna@animalnetwork.org. MY SISTER IS DAISY: I’m Dolly and honestly, I am everyone’s favorite and they tell me that they love me. I’m a big hit on the Zoom calls and everyone loves my black and white pattern and black mustache and is talking about me! But I’m not just a great looking Kitten.  I have a lot of personality.  I’m always the first to run up and say “Hi” and I like to explore, have my belly rubbed and play with my sister who is another fun-loving kitten! She and I lay on top of the cat tree and hang over the edge and snooze.  I love to play with my sister Java who is another fun-loving kitten. But I also chase my tail when I get tired of playing with my toys. I’m just right for a really fastidious person because I like to have a clean box. I’ll be your best friend always and if you rub my tummy I will adore you! I'M THE MOM: I’m Bella and a beautiful female with sable coloring with longer fur. I started out with my family, but they moved and left me behind.  The very nice neighbor was 90 years old and she fed me, but I was all alone outside except when “the boys” came around…. and you know what that means!   RESCUE STORY: My caregiver passed away 3 days after my kittens were born and her son fed me, but the house was going to be sold and me and my gorgeous kittens had to move.  I’m finally inside and I love it since I was rescued by Community Animal Network and we are all safe in a foster home, now. I’m not a big cat, my fur actually makes me look bigger, but I have the “biggest” purr of them all. I love brushing and petting and I’ll follow you around for more loving.  I like to play chase with my kittens and zooming around the round is really lots of fun.  I’m looking for a home that would be “forever” that I can lay next to you and purr or we can play with the toys.  I’m just happy to be safe and be indoors with you.        July 24, 2024, 12:11 am

Please contact DiAnna for more information about this pet.Super affectionate cat! Reina will rein your heart with her wonderful qualities! She will seek out your lap when she wants to be close. Her favorite thing is being petting and the other is if there is a window she loves sitting and watching a bird feeder while lounging safe inside. Most often when you reach for Reina she will “drop and roll” to show her belly. Reina loves interactive play and that helps her have a healthy lifestyle playing with a wand toy.      July 24, 2024, 12:11 am

Story
This is our sweet kitty, Boots. She was our family cat but as all my kids have moved out of the home and I am frequently traveling, she is not getting the love and attention she deserves. She is a senior cat, but has a lot of energy. She often still runs around and plays. She loves to be cuddled and always wants to sleep on your lap. She is in great health and has never had any health issues. She is fixed and house trained and has always been an inside cat. She is nervous around kids but loves them when she gets to know them. She has never been around dogs but grew up with another cat before that cat passed away a few years ago. We just really want to find her a home where she can be loved the way she deserves to be.

Story
My siblings and I were born in a Bank of America parking lot. Our mom thought it would be a good place to keep us until we started crawling out of the bushes and having close calls with cars. Some nice ladies trapped us and our mom and had us all fixed up. I am a big fan of climbing to the top of the cat tree and love when my foster mom tells me how handsome I am and brushes my fur. I carry my toy mouse in my little mouth all while chirping. I am not a believer in personal space so I would need a person who needs a supurrvisor. I am endless energy and can get caught up in all kinds of crazy antics. I love my humans and am comfortable around cats, kittens and dogs. I am very young so I would need to have another bouncy and playful kitten in the house. I would love to be adopted with one of my siblings. If you would like more information about me please go to our website at www.southerncountiesrescue.org and complete our online application.
