Meet Lucky a black Bombay male cat with a white locket marking on his chest.    Lucky is 11 months old, still small, incredibly affectionate, and full of personality. He purrs nonstop, loves to play fetch, wrestle, run through our legs like tunnels, watch birds from the window, and “help” with laundry. His favorite thing is simply being near his people — he wants to be your little sidekick in everything you do.   Lucky’s story began with heartbreak but also with love. Last summer, Peggy found him abandoned and injured in the street as a tiny newborn kitten. She brought him home, and lovingly nursed him back to health. Sadly, Peggy unexpectedly passed away, leaving Lucky without the person he loved most.   He has already overcome so much in his young life, and we are hoping the next chapter of his story is a happy one.   Please help us find Lucky the special home he deserves. Available for pre-adoption he can go home after he is fixed later in June. He loves pouncing on toys and his sister, and occasionally mistakes cable cords for his personal jungle gym. He also earned the nickname “U-Turn” as a baby because he would confidently walk one way, suddenly turn around, and repeat the same little route over and over like a confused business man. After a good play session, Susu turns into a full-time purr machine, melting into comfort mode and is happiest relaxing on you.   However, don’t let his gentle personality fool you. If his sister Toto decides to start trouble, Susu has no problem reminding her who’s boss.   Susu and his sister Toto had a very rough start to life. They were only 3 weeks old when they ended up at the animal shelter without their mama. With no mother to care for them, they were placed on the euthanasia list simply because they were too young.   Now Susu has grown into a playful, loving kitten who is ready for a forever home that will adore him as much as he deserves. Stanley was found on the 5 Freeway in Orange County and spent two long months at the shelter. As one of their longest residents, he eventually ended up on the euthanasia list with little time left.After bringing him home, it didn’t take long for his sweet personality to shine. Stanley is loving, playful, well-behaved, and incredibly grateful for his second chance. He loves playing with our kids, gets along great with the other cats, and is even friends with our 70-pound German Shepherd.Stanley enjoys chatting, asking for pets, lounging in sunny windows, and snuggling on his favorite blanket. He’s learning to be a lap cat and loves affection.He would make a wonderful addition to almost any home looking for a loving companion. After surviving incredible odds twice, Stanley deserves a forever family where he can spend the rest of his nine lives happy, safe, and loved. ❤️🐾
