Romeo is a handsome solid black cat with a heart just as big as his purr. He was rescued during a snow and ice storm, sitting pitifully in the snow and begging to be let inside. Once he felt warmth and safety, his loving personality truly started to shine. Romeo is playful, affectionate and litter box trained. He enjoys other cats with a slow, proper introduction, and he lives for cozy nights — especially snuggling up in bed where he happily makes biscuits and soaks up affection. He’s the kind of cat who wants to be close, offering companionship and comfort in the sweetest ways. Romeo is FIV+, but don't let that bother you! FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) might sound scary, but it’s not a death sentence. FIV cats can live long, normal lives and can even live peacefully with non-FIV cats. Lucy was originally a stray cat before we took her in around 2021. Since then, she has come a long way and has become a very sweet cat. Lucy is a typical cat who enjoys affection, but on her own terms. We let her come to us when she's ready, and when she does, she loves to cuddle. She sleeps with my dad almost every night and enjoys being close to her people. Lucy would do best in a patient home that will give her time to adjust and respect her boundaries. She does not like being picked up or handled too much, but she is a loving companion once she feels comfortable. She would likely do well with older children, preferably 10 years old and up.
