Story
Shiloh is a beautiful, outgoing, and incredibly smart young male cat we rescued as a kitten about 1.5 years ago. He is playful, social, loves children, and even carries his toys around the house like a little dog. He’s never had an accident, is fully litter trained, and enjoys being part of family life. He’s so special and unique. He doesn’t know a stranger. Truly a magical little panther. We are looking for a new home for him only because he has a very strong prey drive toward our older female cat. Despite months of slow introductions, training, separation, enrichment, and guidance from two veterinarians, he remains fixated on her and tries to dominate her. Shiloh would thrive as the only cat in a loving home. He’s affectionate, interactive, playful, and wonderful with kids. With no other cats to trigger that instinct, he will be an amazing companion for the right family. He uses his scratching posts and loves his toys. We will include his litter box, food dish, posts and toys.

Story
We adopted this guy in 2022, he was about a year old, he was an outside cat, quickly became a very spoiled inside cat. He loves our dog,he's done great having a new baby in the house we are just not prioritizing the care he needs and he needs a better home! Very snuggly, love to watch squirrels out the window!

Story
I found Kuro back in April when he was only a few weeks old. He was tiny, with his eyes and ears still closed, crying and crawling into the street late at night. I stopped traffic, picked him up, and took him with me. He was cold and hungry, so I rushed to an emergency vet for supplies and kept him warm and fed. He's been my companion ever since. Kuro is a fully indoor kitten who is very social, playful, and affectionate, and he has no experience with other animals. Unfortunately, I'm moving and won't be able to take him with me. I'll include his favorite blanket, his latest vet documents, and some of his toys, and I'm looking for a loving, experienced cat home that can give him the same care and love he’s always known.

Story
Meet Texas Pete (Action Superstar) Texas Pete — The Spicy Superstar! 5 months old - Silky & shiny fur - Brave, brilliant, and full of heart Meet Texas Pete, the little cowboy with a big personality and a heart of gold. He and his siblings found themselves, through no fault of their own, in a rural shelter facing euthanasia. But fate (and a quick rescue mission!) had other plans. We pulled them just in time, and Texas Pete has been showing everyone what it means to make the most of a second chance. At first, he and his siblings were shy, unsure of what to make of humans. But Pete, ever the brave one, was the first to decide that people aren’t so bad after all. His confidence helped the others come out of their shells, too, he’s that natural leader everyone loves to follow. Now, Texas Pete is a certified superstar. He’s playful, energetic, and the first to come running the moment you pick up a feather toy. He’s always ready to show off his ninja jumps — yes, the kind that defy gravity — and he’s convinced he should be working as a professional action model. In between his stunts, Pete makes time for his daily routines: following you into the bathroom every morning to make sure you’re doing okay, sleeping in bed with you at night, and demanding a fair share of cuddles and head scratches. He’s also ridiculously smart. Food puzzles? Solved. Treats? Oh, he’ll do anything for them — and he’s not shy about training you in the art of snack delivery. He loves watching Cat TV and even enjoys playing tablet games for cats (yes, he’s tech-savvy). He’s also learning to walk on a harness and leash — though he’s pretty sure his foster mom is the one being trained. Texas Pete is a gentle soul with kittens, grooming them and acting like the best big brother ever. He loves other cats, adores attention, and thrives on companionship. He’s silky soft, loves being brushed, and even tolerates nail trims and teeth brushing like a little gentleman. He’s the complete package — playful, affectionate, curious, confident, and oh-so-loving. Texas Pete is still a kitten and thrives on companionship, thus he needs to be adopted with one of his siblings or into a home with another playful cat to match his energy and keep his big heart full. Here is some information why we have this policy: Two kittens are better than one For a pair of kittens we apply a $25 discount from each adoption fee. Pete are estimated to be 4.5 mo old as of Oct 2025 and fully vetted: neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed, and microchipped. He tested negative for FIV and FeLV and heartworms Check out more photos and videos of Pete here: Pete Photos To meet Pete, start by filling out an application here: Adoption Application Questions? info@littlelivesatl.org

Story
Tinkie’s sweetness didn’t come from nowhere. We know she was once loved, you can see it in the way she trusts, the way she seeks connection, and how naturally affection comes to her. Somewhere along the way, this gentle girl found herself on the streets with newborn babies to protect. And when help finally appeared, Tinkie didn’t run from it, she accepted it immediately, as if she knew this was her chance to be safe again. From that day on, she has been nothing but grateful and loving. Since coming into rescue, she has shown us her true self: affectionate, engaging, and quietly joyful. Her kittens have all found their forever homes, and now it’s finally Tinkie’s turn. Tinkie is playful, talkative, and full of personality. She loves being involved in whatever you’re doing and has a special talent for climbing to the highest perch in the room so she can supervise life from above. Window watching is serious business, and she approaches it with focus, curiosity, and the contentment of a cat who is finally safe. Playtime brings out her fun, bouncy side, she’s energetic, joyful, and always ready for the next round. Tinkie can coexist with other respectful cats, but she’ll be honest: it’s not her top choice. What she cares for most is human affection! She would absolutely shine as an only cat, where she can soak up all the attention, affection, and conversation she deserves after everything she’s been through. If you’re looking for a cat full of personality, presence, and sparkle — a companion who will keep you company, make you laugh, and fill your home with warmth (and a little sass) — Tinkie might just be your perfect match. Tinkie is estimated to be between 2-3 years old as of Jan 26. She is fully vetted: spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and flea-free. She tested negative for FeLV and FIV. Story
Marshmellow was found in our neighborhood as a kitten barely a few weeks old. We brought her home and raised her as a part of the family. She is such a sweet girl and loves to hang out and get pets. She likes to follow people around and is very curious. She thrives in a single pet home but will also do well with one other female cat. Our parents have moved in with us and have severe allergies so we must find another home for our babies.
