Foster sibs Ash, Hooper, Coal and TJ   Cole is a shy, sun-loving girl who can usually be found lounging happily on her favorite perch by the window, soaking up every golden ray. It’s her happy place—and she deserves many more of those. While Cole may be a little reserved at first, she’s quietly curious and open to connection. Approach her gently, and she’ll meet your hand with a thoughtful sniff.  She especially enjoys the quiet companionship of other cats—male cats, in particular, give her confidence and comfort. Laser toys are her passion!  Cole would thrive in a calm, patient home—ideally with someone who understands the gentle art of working with shy kitties. A home with a friendly male cat could help her blossom even more. If you’re seeking a peaceful companion with a soft heart and a love for sunshine, Cole might be your perfect match. All she needs is time, trust, and a place by the window.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 4:51 pm

Waldorf may be a little shy at first, but underneath that timid exterior is an incredibly affectionate sweetheart just waiting to blossom. He likes to find a cozy hiding spot while he gets comfortable, but with a little patience and gentle encouragement, he’ll soon come out to show you his loving side. Once Waldorf trusts you, get ready for a whole lot of love! He’ll rub all over you, climb right into your lap, and press himself close as if he never wants to let go. He’s a kitty who truly loves being near his person once he feels safe. Waldorf also seems quite unbothered by the other cats around him. What he really needs is a patient, understanding person who will give him the time and space to build trust at his own pace. Could you be the special person who helps Waldorf come out of his shell and discover just how wonderful life can be? Give this sweet boy a chance, and you may just find yourself with the most devoted cuddle companion Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 14, 2026, 7:59 am

Meet Felix Felix! Felix is another Bombay kitty with his gorgeous black coat and golden colored eyes. He’s only four months old, but he has a big personality. He is incredibly sweet and super social. Our littlest volunteer has marked him as one of her favorites. Felix loves being held, loves playing with the other kittens and has the loudest purr. If looking to add an adorable kitten (maybe two - kittens do better together), give Felix a chance to win you over. Bet he will! Felix loves all kitties and people of all ages. He's one of the snuggliest kitties we have, and he can hold his own with the bigger kitties. Felix will thrive in a home of his own! If looking to welcome Felix to your heart and home, get your application in at www.charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org. Please email our shelter (smithgallhumanesociety@windstream.net) to make sure we received your application. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet. We require an excellent pet/vet history, and we require every animal in the family to be fully vetted and altered in order to adopt. If you have an exception, please explain fully in the application. We do permit out-of-state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship, nor do we transport them to their new homes. Adoption policies and application procedures are detailed at the shelter website: http://charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org/ under tab All Adoptable Animals. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are either owner relinquished rescued from area Animal Controls or high kill shelters. The facility usually operates at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.

: Ariel was found in the sewer, I couldn’t get myself to just leave her when we got her out. She was so tiny and looked so tired since than I started taking care of her but lately I’ve had a busy schedule I have no time to play with her or be around her, she’s always alone. Ariel is a sweet cat, she loves to play and loves everyone. She can also be a calm cat when she needs to be but she shows her playful side as well! I hope to find someone who’s willing to spend time with Ms Ariel in a loving home!

Bella is 2 years old, she’s very sweet with folks she’s acquainted with. We are looking for someone who does have another cat or planning to get one she is social with other cats she’s likes. She’s a little skiddish I have no idea why she’s been that way since she was a kitten. She is socialized with quite a few other cats we have they all get along very well, so much so they usually sleep together. She’s litter trained obviously and does get picky if the litter box gets too dirty for her so keep that in mind. She loves wet food. And she loves to snuggle with the people she chooses as she is a more independent cat.

Cute good with kids lots of energy. Eats well, is ready for his forever home. Very gentle demeanor.
