Story
Binx is a funny cat! Lots of personality! I call him my puppy kitty because he acts like half cat half dog. I walk him on a leash outside to help him with stimulation. He likes his space but will cuddle up when he’s ready! We really love him and I wish him and Bella, our 6 year old female cat could get along. He wants to play and Bella wants to be left alone! We have a dog, Binx is not bothered or easily intimidated. If our dog liked cats better they could probably be friends.

Story
Hey everyone, I recently rescued these two cats about a week ago. Unfortunately, I can’t keep both of them because I already have one cat, and my mom has only allowed me to keep one. So, I decided to keep the female kitten. If anyone is interested in the black and white cat, he’s such a cutie and is very friendly with my cat and his sister.

Story
Foster sibs Ash, Hooper, Coal and TJ     This is Cole. She really enjoys soaking up some sun on her cat tree. That makes her really happy. She is a bit shy at first, but is interested in smelling your hand when approached slowly.. She likes hanging out with all her cat friends in the parlor and thinks people are fine. We believe she would flourish in a home where she is getting constant socialization.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 11, 2025, 5:02 pm

Story
Meet Salem – A Mini Black Panther - Dreamy mysterious eyes! Radiating elegance with every motion, this presence is sleek yet substantial—bold, but never brash. Athletic grace underlies each step, a fluid confidence born of strength and harmony. With a naturally good-natured spirit, it draws others in effortlessly, a beacon of friendliness wrapped in style. Warm eyes, a strong posture, and a welcoming aura—this is a feline made to move with purpose and charm. Ever wondered what it would be like to share your home with a miniature panther? Look no further than Salem. This sleek, jet-black feline prowls the halls like a shadow, ready to leap into action with playful pounces from behind the couch that will leave you laughing. But Salem isn’t all stealth and sass—he's also a loyal companion who will follow you from room to room, sharing tales of his nightly adventures with charming chirps and meows. Once he’s satisfied his inner hunter with a good round of play, he transforms into an affectionate cuddle bug, eager for love and attention. Salem is smart, sociable, and endlessly curious. He was rescued as a discarded kitten and lovingly raised by a lifelong friend who, unfortunately, can no longer care for him. Now, Salem is looking for a forever home where he can thrive. He’s currently on a special diet to manage his food allergies, but he’s otherwise a very healthy and happy boy—ready to bring a touch of the wild and a whole lot of love into your life. His full and current bloodwork has been completed. Unfortunately, he experienced some neglect in recent months and was fed a very poor-quality diet. A vet visit and proper nutrition are all he needs to bounce back fully. But don’t worry—he’s already on the road to recovery! The rescue is working hard to restore his unbelievably shiny coat and healthy skin to their former glory. AWHAR will continue to provide his special food during his foster period and trial adoption to ensure he stays on the path to wellness. Are you ready to welcome a jungle shadow into your heart and home? He’s truly a delightful cat who deserves a forever family! Story
Location: Lawrenceville, GA Name: Kayzie Age: 6 months Gender: Male Breed: Shorthair Utd on vaccines: yes On monthly preventative: yes Spayed/ Neutered: yes Good with other dogs? Idk Good with cats? Yes Good with kids? Idk Reason for rehoming/Other Info: Kayzie is the sweetest and cuddliest kitten there is. He is also playful but overall just wants to be with his human. When not cuddling with me he is either cuddling or playing with his sister Katicat. I adopted them both from Walton animal control in May but my 8 yr old cat does not approve and is trying to kill them. I am currently having to keep them in the bedroom of my apartment and it’s not easy keeping them in there. When I try to come in and out of the bedroom they escape into the living room sometimes where my other cat attacks them. I can not keep living like this nor can they. They are too sweet to be locked up. And I refuse to rehome my older cat.

Story
Marcy came to us from a foster situation herself. She was meant to be a temporary foster but the original owners gave her up to us. She is truly the sweetest cat and it breaks my heart doing this. She is very skittish but will get to know you after a week or so. She is good with other cats but is also skittish around them. She isn’t destructive or aggressive. She is very playful and loves to cuddle.
