Story
Abby has been with me, woman of the house, since she was born. She has seen many moves and new adventures in her time with us. Got attached to my chinchilla as a young kitten, and after chinchilla passed has not been the same. We got her a cat friend and she is tolerant, but prefers to be the dominant of the two and of the house. She is 9 years old, birthday is April 26th, 2017. Has been with 2 dogs, 1 cat, and a 2 year old for 2 years consistently. She takes time to acclimate to animals, but once she is use to them, the relationship is cordial. Has not hurt our child, but will swat and try to grab unexpectedly if child walks, runs, or is sitting near. Not rehoming because we don’t love her, rehoming so that she can live out her lazy cat days in peace. Talks all the time, loves high places, treats, and sleeping on your lap. We love her, but it is getting hard to keep up with peeing everywhere when upset, and being chased by our German shepherd. Would do well as a single pet.

Story
Gizmo/Gizzy was adopted from pet smart two years ago, he is a happy, snuggly dog loving cat. He is typical when it comes to food. If you can see the bottom of his bowl, he snuggles with you until you fill it. He likes to go outside but runs in if it’s been to long. My 90 year old mom with dementia has moved in with me and she is allergic to Gizzy. It breaks my heart to loose him but I have to let him go to a new home. I know you will love him as much as I do and my dogs do. 😞

Story
Meet Mabel, an 8yo Bombay who has mastered the fine art of quiet judgment. She’s impeccably litter box trained, wonderfully low-maintenance, and impressively quiet. Affection is tolerated in tasteful moderation and always on her terms, but she does enjoy chin scratches and has never been a biter.Mabel’s true passion in life is treats. Shake a bag and she transforms from mysterious house panther into a surprisingly agile athlete. She also enjoys sampling human food including pizza, poptarts, cake, French fries, etc. She doesn’t scratch furniture, climb curtains, nor create chaos. Instead, she prefers to sit elegantly nearby and silently evaluate your decisions.Other pets are not her favorite audience. Mabel sees herself less as “a pet” and more as the queen of the household, ideally as an only child. She’s perfect for someone looking for a calm, independent companion with personality, boundaries, and just the right amount of sass.

Story
Charlie is now 3 years old. She has a beautiful, silky black coat. She likes to be pet but not held. She does need a little time to get to know you like normal cats. She is very calm. She needs to be the center of attention and has trouble with other pets in the home. We'd love for her to be in a warm, loving family where she can be the center of attention.

Story
Tink is a ~4-year-old cat with a BIG personality and an even bigger love for playtime! Adopted from Anne Arundel County Animal Care & Control, Tink has truly come into her own and is ready to find a home that matches her fun, confident spirit. This playful girl loves toys of all kinds and will happily entertain herself (and you!) with her antics. When she’s not busy playing, Tink enjoys cozy naps and the occasional snuggle—on her terms, of course. She has a nice balance of affection and independence, making her a great companion for someone who appreciates a cat with a little sass and a lot of charm. Tink currently lives with another cat and they coexist, but she tends to be the more dominant one. Because of this, she would do best either as the only cat or with a more easygoing companion who will let her take the lead.
