Story
Gizmo/Gizzy was adopted from pet smart two years ago, he is a happy, snuggly dog loving cat. He is typical when it comes to food. If you can see the bottom of his bowl, he snuggles with you until you fill it. He likes to go outside but runs in if it’s been to long. My 90 year old mom with dementia has moved in with me and she is allergic to Gizzy. It breaks my heart to loose him but I have to let him go to a new home. I know you will love him as much as I do and my dogs do. 😞

Story
Meet Mabel, an 8-year-old Bombay who has mastered the art of toleration. She’s litter box trained—which is honestly the bare minimum, but she’d like you to treat it as a major character reference—and impressively quiet, mostly because she has nothing to say to you. Don’t expect tons of affection or conversation. Forced affection is tolerated in small doses. She loves chin scratches and never bites.Mabel’s one true passion is treats. Shake a bag and she transforms into an athlete. She doesn’t scratch furniture, which is great until you realize she saves all that energy for silently judging you. Your couch is safe, but your dignity is not. People? She stares unblinkingly in judgement. Other pets? Not ideal. She is The Queen. She is low-maintenance, low-noise, and low-key always judging. If you’re looking for a cat who will mind her business, respect your furniture, and acknowledge your presence on her terms or when snacks are involved—congratulations. You’ve met your match.

Story
Charlie is now 3 years old. She has a beautiful, silky black coat. She likes to be pet but not held. She does need a little time to get to know you like normal cats. She is very calm. She needs to be the center of attention and has trouble with other pets in the home. We'd love for her to be in a warm, loving family where she can be the center of attention.

Story
Brooksie came into our life as a 4 week old foster kitten, after she was found in a Manhattan brownstone. We fell in love with her and quickly adopted! She was a very active and curious kitten and hasn't changed those qualities as a 6 year old cat. She prefers her treats to be tossed so she can chase them and loves being a "goalkeeper" when we toss her a treat. Brooksie loves to curl up in our lap while we're watching TV and occasionally will treat us to a purr. Brooksie would do best in a home where there are no loud children as she gets very fearful and may fight back if she feels threatened. As she is a fearful cat, we'd love for her next home to be stable and predictable to give her the comfort that she deserves.

Story
Tink is a ~4-year-old cat with a BIG personality and an even bigger love for playtime! Adopted from Anne Arundel County Animal Care & Control, Tink has truly come into her own and is ready to find a home that matches her fun, confident spirit. This playful girl loves toys of all kinds and will happily entertain herself (and you!) with her antics. When she’s not busy playing, Tink enjoys cozy naps and the occasional snuggle—on her terms, of course. She has a nice balance of affection and independence, making her a great companion for someone who appreciates a cat with a little sass and a lot of charm. Tink currently lives with another cat and they coexist, but she tends to be the more dominant one. Because of this, she would do best either as the only cat or with a more easygoing companion who will let her take the lead.
