Story
Cupcake-Bombay/Bob Tail X female, ~ 2-3 yr (March 2024) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Cupcake was taken in by a cat loving lady in a small rural town. She is so sweet and knows humans are her friends and help, she came right up to the caretaker for help. Probably abandoned and just needing a place for food & safety so came forward looking for a friend. Since being in her foster home, she's made great friends with the other cats, dogs and even the 3 yr. old neighbor boy. She's known the love of family life and is looking forward to that again. Her foster Mom said she's always close by and very loving. She bonds very well. Cupcake's adoption fee is $150 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com Include your location and a phone number for future communication. The first step in our process is to submit an application for review. Once approved, we will contact you to arrange a meeting at our next Meet and Greet event. Our pets are fostered in private homes and will be brought to Frederick, MD to meet approved adopters. Story
Cash-Bombay/DSH male, ~ 6-8 yr (April 2024) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Cash was rescued off the streets by a volunteer with a small town Humane Society. He's a beautiful cat, adjusting to his new living situation in a foster home. His foster mom says he's a cuddly, loving boy, wanting to sit on her lap. She sings him to sleep. He is litter box trained with good manners Cash is calm, quiet, probably a couch potato, long past the wild energy of a kitten. He will play with a toy/feather/etc. but not excessively. Loves petting and cuddling. Cash would like be accepting of another calm cat in a home, we have no real experience with him and dogs, and preferable children over 12 yr. His adoption fee is $150 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com Include your location and a phone number for future communication.

Story
Xander is the sweetest boy cat I have ever met or owned! He loves his mom and thoroughly enjoys spending time with guests. He was born in a barn Feb 5th, 2023 and came to me April2023. He is very playful, curious and at times mischievous. He is a big boy, about 15lbs, and has a hard time playing gently with his older sister. He loves to cuddle up in a lap or wherever he can to be near you! He has never roamed outside but loves being on the balcony and I believe he would be a great indoor/outdoor cat. He has never been around any dogs, so I am not sure how that relationship would blossom, but he does love to play so a pet that is very active and close to his size or bigger might be a good match. I would like him to be in a home with an owner that loves to give/receive affection and where he has plenty of room to explore and play.

Santa would prefer to be an only cat. She came to 4 Paws from a partner shelter in Southern Virginia. She is a friendly, affectionate girl who loves people and would make an excellent family cat. Santa's estimated birthdate is December 2017. She is spayed, current on vaccines, tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, and has been microchipped.
