Bombay kittens & cats in Laurel, Maryland

ISO loving home & feline friends All about me: * I’m male about three years old & about 8.8 lbs. * I’m a stunning black domestic shorthair with some Bombay traits including short, jet-black, sheen fur, amber eyes, muscular build and white in my ears. * My foster mom says I’m a perfect cat! * Once I settle in, I love and seek affection but I’m not overbearing. I love pets & snuggling in a lap. * I enjoy active play with other cats & people (let’s play toy chase!) but am good at entertaining myself. I love batting curly pipe cleaners & soft toys. * I get along well with other cats & would REALLY like to live in a home with feline friends. I love to play and snuggle with friendly cats. If a cat doesn’t like me, I brush it off - no fighting. * I love to make biscuits on my person but I do not mind getting my nails trimmed so I won't scratch. * I have quite a range of vocalizations from soft meows & contented sighs to happy trills & chirps. * I’m not into being held long but am ok being picked up * I am awesome with the litter box and using scratching posts, and love to eat. * I love watching birds and squirrels! * I will take a little time to get used to a new family and place. A safe spot to snuggle, gentle head rubs, another friendly cat and maybe some tuna will help me warm up. I love my bed and it comes with me!

Please meet Cole. This very friendly and loving fella loves to play. He is black with a white patch under his chin and 3 white toes on his back left foot. After a play session all he wants is some affection and to lay on your lap for a nap. He was born in March of 2024. He has been neutered & is up to date on his vaccinations. This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport,...(www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Black Velvet lives with her sister Skittle, and they are both solid black, but 'Velvet' has an old scar on her head. Rescued near Manassas, she and her sister are learning to trust humans in a safe place, and she is beginning to make progress. You can pet her and she is food motivated so that helps in her trust department. She would be a project cat that you will most certainly be able to make progress when she gets to her forever home.

Loki is shy but curious, likes routine, and needs help socializing. He enjoys company of other cats and is motivated with cat treats. He likes to stay near his mom and cuddles with another familiar cat, Mimi.

Natalie is a survivor that has adapted to her situation quite well. She loves to be petted and groomed, but has a paralyzed tongue so is messy eating her food and grooming herself. She needs daily grooming to help her keep clean and slick. She comes when she is called for her grooming time.

Madame Peanut is a 6 year old large sassy lady, but she is very affectionate to people, even to strangers. She loves attention and cheek scratches. She also likes relaxing on the couch, lounging at the top of the stairs so she can watch from above, or watching and smelling from her window. When her humans are home, she tries to stay near you at all times, unless she is too tired. She is a bit overweight but she has been working on losing weight steadily with a regular feeding schedule and plenty of toys to play with. She especially likes feather wands. She is also quite vocal with honks and chirps when she misses her people. Peanut is rather territorial, so she might need to be the only cat in the home. It is unknown how she does with other animals and unknown how she does with children, but every human she has met so far, she instantly warmed up to.
