IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS LISTING ON PETFINDER OR ADOPT-A-PET, please visit: www.frecklesfoundation.org to access adoption requirements, more information and pictures. Meet Duchess — the tiny monarch of the living room who rules with an iron paw and a velvet nose. She’s a royal diva who believes snacks are a constitutional right and humans exist to serve her. She’s treat‑motivated, dramatic, and makes air biscuits so much, you’d think she’s kneading bread for an invisible bakery. Adopt Duchess and gain a tiny monarch who pays her taxes in purrs. This cat is up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, negative for FelV/FIV, and litter box trained. **Due to temperament, this cat must be adopted with another playful cat or into a home with another playful, young cat. The adoption fee for this kitten is $200/$375 for a pair. Application for adoption: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FRE/Cat If you are viewing on Petfinder and cannot see photos or would like to apply for this kitten, please visit our website www.frecklesfoundation.org ***Please note that the first step in the process is to complete our nonbinding application which does not commit you in any way, but allows us to help you to find a great match. Our application review process also includes a veterinary reference check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives (if applicable) and examined annually by your vet.*** Cats adopted through Freckles Foundation & Animal Rescue must be indoor only and may not be declawed unless already declawed at the time of rescue.

Story
Meet Charles! I found Charlie about a month ago in the alleyway next to my home. I’m a big cat lover, so I started feeding him right away and he immediately started rubbing against me, claiming me as his own. He’s very very playful and full of energy. He loves to play with toes and will wiggle under your arm just to cuddle. If you’re looking for some joy for your family, Charles is your cat. I’m looking for a true cat lover to give Charles the forever family he deserves.

Story
Vashti is a sweet 4-year old cat who grew up with dogs and thinks she is one too! She was adopted from the Augusta Animal Shelter, and we are unfortunately having to rehome her because she has become too rough with other cats. She tries to wrestle them as she does with dogs, but cats really don't appreciate that. She would do great with canine companions or as the sole pet in a household. She's shy at first, but she warms up quickly to guests within about 20 minutes and comes up for scritches. She can be very vocal and will meow for attention! Her two front paws feature "syndactyly" - some of her toe beans are fused together, giving her fewer toes than the average cat, so some her claws are always sticking out. She walks, runs, jumps, and plays fine, she just needs a little nail trim every few weeks. We are happy to donate 2 automatic litter boxes, carrying crate, and a window catio to her adopter! (total of >$300 worth of supplies!)

Story
Black Velvet lives with her sister Skittle, and they are both solid black, but 'Velvet' has an old scar on her head. Rescued near Manassas, she and her sister are learning to trust humans in a safe place, and she is beginning to make progress. You can pet her and she is food motivated so that helps in her trust department. She would be a project cat that you will most certainly be able to make progress when she gets to her forever home.
