Story
Honey Bear is available with his sister Ramona. We weren't sure if they would lose their eyes but their foster did a great job with their medications. As most of you know the corneal scarring does not hold them back at all. To meet them, please apply at https://linktr.ee/nyctfa

Story
The name Wawa comes from Chinese because it likes to dig cat food. It has lived in our house for a year. It is usually very quiet, doesn't eat much, likes chicken, likes to roll over, and likes to sit quietly next to you.

Story
Hi there, my name is Varis, and I’m looking for my forever home. I’ve been through a lot, but I’m still a sweet and loving cat who just wants to be cared for. I was originally adopted from a shelter, where I was given a second chance. Since then, I’ve had a couple of homes, and I’m currently with my third family. They’ve been really nice to me, but unfortunately, they’re moving, and they can’t take me with them on a long road trip. I’m not too fond of traveling, and I think the journey would be a little too tough for me. I do have a little condition—epilepsy. My seizures are rare, but they happen every now and then. My current family has been amazing at managing it, and I’m really good at bouncing back afterward. I’m mostly a calm and relaxed cat, but I can be playful when I’m in the mood. I love finding cozy spots to nap, and I’ll even curl up next to you if you’re feeling down. I’m looking for a kind and patient person or family who can give me the love and stability I need!

Story
Luci is a playful, easy to entertain kitty. A good boy and a big boy. Loves his heights, after meal zoomies, lizard/bugs cat TV, and head to belly rubs! I’m rehoming him due of a combination of circumstances. We moved a few months ago and he lost his friend to play with. The other kitty here doesn’t like him, so now he’s not allowed in the living room. But this leads to him getting incredibly bored when I’m at work. His zoomies get destructive in a small room, unintentionally, but destructive. They also kick up my allergies, despite cleaning and dusting everyday, I wake up in the middle of the night and morning unable to breathe. I would love to keep him but unfortunately I don’t think we can remain living this way for another year or so without damaging our relationship. So I’m hoping to find him a good loving home, somewhere he can have enough space to run and climb to his liking. He’s a beautiful loving boi, but currently a high boi in a big cage.

Story
Unfortunately, I need to immediately rehome my two beautiful cats, onyx and luna. The demand of my work has made it so that I’m rarely home. And although cat sitting is an option, they both deserve to be in a household that can nourish them the way that they nourish. I’d be asking for a small rehoming fee of $75 to ensure seriousness, and they will come with all the materials needed to care for them, including an automatic litter box, automatic water fountain, an automatic feeder, worth about $700 total. Here are some quick facts about them: They got fully vaccinated about 3 years ago and have no health issues. They will likely need updates by end of this year, up to the new owners. They eat dry food but mixing with fish oil is something I do about 1x or 2x a week. I have their food supply and oil ready for whoever rehomes them. They are very sweet and cuddly, especially once acclimated.

Story
2Cosmo (black male) and Luna (gray female) are the most gentle, sweetest fur babies ever! They love being pet and push their faces into your hand for more, all while purring very loudly! They were being fostered in a family with 2 young children and are very easy going with them. They love to play with toy mice and then snuggle with their foster family and each other. These bonded kitties were rescued from a street colony in Gerritsen Beach where most of them are friendly and obviously dumped.  Both kitties are spayed and neutered and up to date on vaccines. Cosmo is positive for felv and negative for fiv. Luna is negative for felv/fiv and vaccinated against felv. We just could've separate these 2, so Luna will need felv vaccines every year in order to stay with her boyfriend. If you'd like to meet these 2 beautiful sweethearts please complete our online application here https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/ and write Tara as their rescuer.  Thank you for thinking of a rescue animal in need of a loving home! Adopting one animal will help to open space for future furry-friends dreaming of forever homes! All Brooklyn Animal Action cats and dogs are available to adopt, foster and foster-to-adopt.
