With his gorgeous yellow-green eyes, impressive jumping skills, and goofy antics, he’s impossible not to love. He may look like a serious gentleman at first glance, but spend a little time with him and you’ll quickly discover the playful, affectionate, slightly silly cat hiding underneath that handsome exterior. He is a total goofball! Harrison spent the first few years of his life living underneath a local bar alongside several other cats. When the bar closed, Harrison and his friends suddenly had no one to care for or feed them. Thankfully, they were rescued and brought into foster care, where they received the veterinary care and love they needed. He was a little shy at first, but after spending time getting comfortable with indoor life he is ready for a permanent family. He's come such a long and blossomed into an absolute sweetheart! Once Harrison trusts you, he loves a good cheek scratch or butt scratch, and he may even roll over asking for belly rubs. He can get a little carried away when he’s excited and may give an occasional love nip, so he’s still learning some manners when it comes to expressing his affection. This can be a little alarming but it's not an aggressive bite - however he may not be the best pick for a household with small children! Harrison does have a few quirks that we expect will continue to improve with time, patience, love, and the stability of a forever home. He isn’t a fan of being picked up, and he can become nervous when someone looms over him. He does best when given the opportunity to approach people on his own terms, or if he is approached when he’s on a perch (just a little higher up than the floor!) With a little patience and respect for his boundaries, Harrison is a wonderful companion and a perfect little gentleman. And despite his size, Harrison is still a kitten at heart when it comes to playtime! Wand toys are his absolute favorite, and his eyes light up when he sees one. He’s also a big fan of wet food and Churu treats and will happily come investigate whenever the “good stuff” makes an appearance. He isn’t an overly chatty guy, but when he’s getting especially good pets, he may reward you with a few adorable little chirps. Harrison is very close with his buddy Rob, a creamy-grey tabby boy who is equally large and quirky. If you have room in your home (and heart!) for both of these boys, we'd love to see them adopted together. Harrison’s journey has taken a little longer than some, and that’s okay. He may need several weeks (or even more) to feel comfortable in a new environment. He hasn’t had the easiest start in life, but he is a true ray of sunshine once he knows he’s safe. We know the right person will understand that earning Harrison’s trust is a process, and we promise he is worth every bit of patience. If you’re looking for a goofy, sweet, big-hearted boy who will reward your patience with affection, chirps, playtime, and lots of personality, Harrison may be your guy! 🖤 --- Harrison is approximately 2-3 years old, neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. He does a great job of keeping his litterbox tidy.

Black Eyed Pea is always a winner's Story Our fosters are have so many kittens are now big enough to be adopted. They are anywhere from 8 to 12 wks old so almost ALL are TOO SMALL TO GO as SOLO pets to a home UNLESS u already have a young cat in your home - so have to be paired up. They are absolutely the sweetest and simply some of the cutest and prettiest kitties ever! Let's chat about them! Mark, Mincy, Minx, Mallory, Miller - 8-10 quintuplets ALL with personalities that will WOW u 24/7 - sweetest cuddliest funniest and to be honest prettiest group around. They had an amazing foster who gave them so much love n' cuddles that they give it back 10000% - too small to be solo kitties - great with everyone Hank and Harold (twins!) and their buddies "the beans" Lima, Garbanzo, Black Eye and Refried (yes def can use renaming lol) - 8-10 wk old tabbies and bombays that can't be any cuter. They even make air biscuits while u hold them - who doesn't want non stop biscuits?!! Too small to go solo please. And Hank and Harold might be bonded so ideally we'd love to see them together Sunshine, Luna, Orbits, Louie, Becca, Beckett - cuteness cannot be better described than these 5 8-9 wk old adorables - they are tiny sweet and each more gorgeous soft and snuggly than the next. Pepper - such a sad story for an amazing lover boy - READ BIO BEFORE INQUIRING Pepper Oregano Salt and Paprika (20-24 wks old) are a group of amazing siblings who have had a lot of sadness in their lives. We call these "project" cats as they sadly grew up since 5wks old in a shelter's 2x2 inch cage in the dark and ignored. They were terrified and had little human comfort until Rock n' Rescue took them in. Now in foster, they are learning to thrive and to be loved. While Paprika and Pepper have opened up, Oregano and Salt are still struggling. Adopters for Pepper and Salt will need to understand that they will be scared upon meeting them, but LOVE to love and purr the minute they are handled and should fast recover into normal happy goofballs in a safe quiet home. NO small kids but other pets seem to be accepted by them. Prob not a loud or big dog though. Oregano and Salt are harder cases. Adopters need to understand that u will need to work with them in a small room until they build trust and connection to u. Experience with nervous cats is necessary and we of course will guide u. They would be foster to adopt to start. They will come around but will always need a quieter home. No dogs no small kids. Smurfette - super snuggler, super friendly, super happy - read her SAD tale Smurfette (aka Polly) was in a shelter since mid JUNE - yes MID JUNE - going unnoticed as a black adult cat is sadly overlooked way too often. At only 1-2yrs old, she is really a big kitten, but her gentle nature and happy go lucky attitude was just overlooked time and time again. She sat in that 2x2 cage playing by herself and waiting for her new home. Smurfette was left at the shelter after owners moved and left her behind in the building. She immediately cuddled up to everyone she met, but they sadly could not keep her. Now she is happy in foster and a rescue fav. Low shed, HIGH cuddle factor here. Def possible ESA cat or future therapy cat as she loves EVERYONE she meets and seems fine with all other pets too. So fantastic and soooo great. This cat was never meant to be in a shelter, but on your lap! Cashew and Peanut and their buddies Big Foot and Moth Man - these 8-10 wk old tabby mixes are sooo tiny and soooo cute! We cannot stop snuggling them and they instantly purr the min we do! Sweeny, Mrs Lovett, Anthony, Todd - these tiny 8-10wk old cuties are as fun as they come - raised since teeny tiny in an amazing foster, they are so friendly and fun on top of being GORGEOUS and so so cuddly.
