Story
Meet Tofu, a chunky little cuddle bug who deserves the BEST life indoors with lots of love!IMPORTANT INFO:- Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat- ROSES Rescues is located in Houston, TX. We transport our kitties to adopters in the Northeast and Pacific Northwest! **Cost is included in Adoption Fee.**- Tofu's adoption fee is $315.- With proper introductions Tofu may do well with another cat (better with males than females) or a calm and respectful pup. She would be fantastic as an only cat or if adopted with one of her kittens.---Tofu was found on the streets of Houston with her two kittens (Bean and Edamame, also adoptable). They were all initially supposed to be trapped, fixed, and returned to their outdoor colony, but Tofu and her babies were way too friendly to be put back out on the street! Despite having been outdoors for the first year or two of her life, Tofu was the first to really enjoy the luxuries of an indoor life. She immediately started purring every time she saw Her Humans walk by, and it was obvious that she wanted nothing but love and a lap to snuggle on!Per her finder/foster: We suspect she didn't have the easiest life prior to being rescued, and she likely had many, many litters of kittens before Bean and Edamame. We're just glad to help be part of Tofu's journey to a forever home in a much better place!!Tofu is a pretty big cat at almost 13 lbs, but that just means there is more of her to love. She is extremely affectionate with humans and is always seeking out attention (and food of course). We haven't tried it yet, but given how food-motivated she is, you might even be able to train her to do a few tricks!---Tofu is ~1.5-3 years old (it's very hard to pin down an exact age!), in great health, spayed, microchipped, negative for FIV/FeLV, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy. All she needs now is her forever home!Adopt Tofu (and maybe one of her adorable kittens!), and double the love, double the purrs, and double the fun.---The adoption application can be found here:https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/CatTofu and her kittens are currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes (cost is included in adoption fee).———ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES:When you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you're doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee pays for a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts! To learn more about our TNR (Trap / Neuter / Return) efforts, please follows us on Instagram @roses_rescues_htx.

Story
Please meet our heartbreaker BABALOO, nicknamed BALOO, a magnificent Bombay with a big heart and a feline inspiration of love and affection❤️ When BABALOO appeared and joined a feral colony, it was right away apparent that this lover boy kitty was abandoned and truly did not belong there. So the rescuer jumped into action and swept this little man off the street and into a warm place to snuggle in. Surely, it didn't take BABALOO long to show his affectionate side and his gentle and loving personality that exploded when realizing he is finally safe. His statement was clear and didn't leave any doubt that his rescuer made the right decision on intake by rubbing with his cheek against their hands and circling around her in full delight. He LOVES chin rubbing under constant love-seeking purrs and maximizes his cuteness with his ultimate signature move to roll over and ask for a quick belly rub. When melting in your arms, his expressive golden eyes are closing out of satisfaction being held and he is enjoying the ride under the deepest purrs - we can't imagine why someone would abandon such feline jewel! PLEASE get a little taste of affection: As every young teenager, BABALOO has of course also a very playful side, batting mice or playing with his wand toy. To his fullest delight, he loves to play hide and seek with his foster Mom, reaching for higher spots to hide and then peaking around the corner to make sure that she is really looking for him. So super cute❤️ BABALOO loves to be part of everything and will follow you around with his tail up making sure he does not miss a beat in your life - nothing is holding back this sweet Snuggle King to get attention and his will to be part of "his human's" life is unbreakable. Thus, we are looking for a home that can give this personal assistant lots of human interaction and of course tons of love❤️ BABALOO is a 2 year old young healthy lover boy, neutered, dewormed / deflead, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FELV and otherwise fully vetted including microchip Please meet this stunningly beautiful Bombay bachelor with a heart of gold and a feline charm that will sweep you off your feet❤️ And check out our website for more adorable kitties looking for a forever home: https://www.adoptapet.com/shelter/84295-east-harlem-kitty-rescue-new-york-new-york#featured

Story
Squish is a 5-month-old black kitten with a lot of love to give and a little extra character. He’s blind in one eye due to corneal scarring—it’s permanent, doesn’t need treatment, and doesn’t bother him at all. He gets around just fine and lives a totally normal kitten life. He’s super affectionate and wants attention from everyone—people, cats, dogs, whoever’s available. He’ll rub up on you (and everything else) just to remind you he’s there and would like some pets, please and thank you. He can get a little intense about affection when he’s excited, but it’s all in good fun. Because of his vision, he sometimes gets startled or a little growly if something surprises him—his depth perception is off, so things can catch him off guard. But he’s never aggressive, just momentarily unsure. He recovers quickly and goes right back to being a sweet, wiggly little guy. He gets along well with other cats and dogs and would do great in a home that understands he’s figuring things out in his own way. He’s a genuinely good kitten who just wants someone to love on him as much as he wants to love on them.

Story
Annabelle and Tickety-boo are gorgeous black cats, mother and son. These beautiful cats are stunning. Annabelle is a short-haired black beauty, while TB is medium-haired and quite fluffy with a gorgeous, big tail. These two are very sweet and gentle, and so happy to be safe and off the street. Hard to believe such beauties were homeless! They still are a bit scared and will run at sudden movements or noises, but they are getting so much better with their confidence and being less fearful! They are affectionate and love to rub against your legs, seeking pets and attention - and, thanks to their foster mom, they are slowly learning to enjoy different types of touch. She even shows them videos of cats cuddling with humans as “pro-cuddle propaganda”! This adorable pair also love to play, but they're both somewhat uncoordinated, which makes them fun to watch as they get better at navigating indoors. TB adores catching and running after toy mice and balls, while Annabelle loves rope toys and playing tug of war. Tickety-boo also has the cutest little squeaky meow you’ve ever heard. These two gentle cats absolutely LOVE each other and must be adopted as a bonded pair. TB is a sweet little mama's boy, constantly following Annabelle around and looking to her for comfort and reassurance. She is patient and loving with him and is truly the sun to his moon. All they need is a patient adopter with a calm household where they can settle in and blossom.  Though they are unsure about being picked up, both Annabelle and TB are super gentle and sweet and their foster mom says they’ve never so much as scratched her. Because they're not "Velcro" cats, they would make great companions for someone who wants a loving bonded pair who will mostly do their own thing. Annabelle is about 2 years old and Tickety-boo is about 1 year old. These beautiful cats are healthy, felv/fiv negative, spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and ready for a wonderful furrever home together. If you would like to schedule a meet & greet, please go to our application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/. Make sure you click on Annabelle and Tickety-boo, then identify Claire as the RESCUER and fill out the form!     Thank you for thinking of a rescued angel. Every dime goes to saving the next homeless angel on the street. May 28, 2026, 4:45 pm
