Story
2Cosmo (black male) and Luna (gray female) are the most gentle, sweetest fur babies ever! They love being pet and push their faces into your hand for more, all while purring very loudly! They were being fostered in a family with 2 young children and are very easy going with them. They love to play with toy mice and then snuggle with their foster family and each other. These bonded kitties were rescued from a street colony in Gerritsen Beach where most of them are friendly and obviously dumped.  Both kitties are spayed and neutered and up to date on vaccines. Cosmo is positive for felv and negative for fiv. Luna is negative for felv/fiv and vaccinated against felv. We just could've separate these 2, so Luna will need felv vaccines every year in order to stay with her boyfriend. If you'd like to meet these 2 beautiful sweethearts please complete our online application here https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/ and write Tara as their rescuer.  Thank you for thinking of a rescue animal in need of a loving home! Adopting one animal will help to open space for future furry-friends dreaming of forever homes! All Brooklyn Animal Action cats and dogs are available to adopt, foster and foster-to-adopt. Story
Say hello to Pickle, an adorable kitten with a spunky spirit and a heart full of playfulness. Sporting medium-length fur and mesmerizing yellow eyes, Pickle is a Bombay mix who's as soft as she is spirited. This little lady thrives on love and attention, always eager to cuddle up for some affection, whether she's purring and nuzzling your face or curling up for a nap by your pillow. Pickle's energy shines through during playtime, where she delights in chasing after strings, pouncing on cat teaser toys, and hunting elusive laser dots. She's a natural entertainer, often initiating friendly play fights and showing off her agility as she zooms around the room. Not just content with toys, Pickle has a quirky habit of carrying objects around in her mouth, always looking for an exciting new place to play. She's especially fond of playing with her foster siblings, eagerly joining in on their tail-chasing escapades and forming strong bonds. If you're searching for a furry friend who's equal parts playful and affectionate, consider welcoming Pickle into your home. With her winning personality and charming antics, she's sure to bring joy and laughter to your days. Because of her age and energy level, Pickle must go to a home with another young, active cat to keep her company during playtime and cozy naps. Sweet Pickle is about 6 months old. She is spayed, has tested fiv-/felv-, is up to date on vaccines, has been treated for parasites and is ready for a wonderful furrever home with another young kitty! If you're interested in meeting this adorable kitten, fill out our application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/. Make sure you click on Pickle and identify Claire as the RESCUER when you fill out the form!   Thank you for considering a rescued angel! Every dime goes to save another homeless kitty on the street. Meet Fantastic Negrito! READ BIO BEFORE INQUIRING OR APPLYING - Buddy cat! Samantha and Fantastic Negrito - SPECIAL CASE KITTENS ... Poor Sammie and Negrito - brother and sister - came from a seriously sad situation. Their momma was found in an alley way after she had been tossed out of a home with her 5 babies. One was found hit by a car and thankfully a kind Samaritan realized there could be more and found her. Momma was fixed and rehomed and the babies put into a socialization program. But... they are still very shy and take a long time to adjust once they move into a home. Details about Negrito: 10 months old. EXTRA toes polydactyl neutered & vaccinated **WILL cautiously, but gently take food from hands and silverware ** WILL allow petting from head to tail. ** TIMID so GO SLOW & DO NOT FORCE. Let him come to you Once comfortable, he will purr LOUDLY, allow ear scratching/rubbing and occasionally DROOL lol ** LOVES high value food items such as “CHURU” or “Temptations” squeeze tubes. ** WILL jump on your lap if you have a high value food item ** LOVES TOYS especially crinkle balls and anything with feathers. Occasionally plays “fetch” ** SMART, SOCIAL & SWEET. Loves to sunbathe and watch birds from the window. ** Gets along well with other cats & is more confident & outgoing with other well socialized felines ** Excellent with litterbox (uses BREEZE litter system, but has also used wheat litter) ** Eating Taste of the Wild dry kibble from Auto-feeder - Especially Loves Weruva Canned Chicken (shreds) and Regularly eats up high (counter) **NON-AGGRESSIVE, but SCARES EASILY & FEARFUL AT TIMES. Does best with slow, thoughtful movement around him **DOES NOT ALLOW picking up, but WILL sleep between your legs or on your feet at night. Occasionally allows full body petting while you are laying in a prone position. ** DIFFICULT TO CATCH – Non-aggressive when caught, but extremely squirmy (4 legs in 8 differentdirections – think octopus !! ) Once calm, good for nail trims, ear cleaning, vaccines. Both Sammy and Negrito would be best in a multi cat household where they can first adjust to the new cats and then slowly start to accept their human counterparts. No small children.
