Charity is an engaging girl with a happy, lively attitude. Although not one for sitting still, she does know her sit command and also walks well on leash. She is eager to learn more and earn those training treats! After all, she loves you and she wants to please you! Yes, Charity is looking for an active partner and fast friend. She gets along with most dogs, but any dog friend needs to understand that she plays rough and loud. Charity shows signs of being housetrained, so she is ready to come right into your home and brighten your life.   ~ Est DOB: Mar 2023~ Intake weight: 48#~ Adoption details/application: calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlMay 1, 2024, 8:55 pm

Story
Lexi is a 9 month old Border Collie mix! Lexi came to us with her sister, Meredith, who has recently been adopted. Lexi loves to run and play outside! She also enjoys squeaky toys a lot! Lexi would love to find a family with a yard for her to run and play in! She did come in with another dog, but we always suggest a meet-n-greet if you have other dogs in the home. Lexi is very sweet and seems to have a more docile personality than most her age. Of course, this could change once she is comfortable in a home setting. Lexi is very loving and playful and she cannot wait to find her chance at furever! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.May 3, 2024, 7:55 pm

A dapper fella with a charming half-tail, Tucker is a chill guy with a live-and-let-live attitude. He bonds tightly to his person once they've shown themselves worthy. A safe and quiet life is at the top of this boy's want list. Then he can really open up and show his fun side, which includes an adorable play bow! He likes playing with female dogs but is a grump with other males.  ~  Est DOB:  Aug 2011 ~  Est weight:  50#  ~  Adoption details/application:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlMay 1, 2024, 8:55 pm

Story
Andre has never met a stranger, and he met many people after being abandoned at an apartment complex. Everyone loved him, but nobody could keep him - so we are helping him continue his search for a true family. Andre's best home is pretty much any home, as he loves all people and knows his basic commands already! He is fun loving but also loves lap time and some good cuddles in front of the tv. He enjoys other dogs and can match well with a dog companion who understands his vocal play style.   ~ Est DOB: Nov 2021~ Intake weight: 48# ~ Adoption details/application: calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlMay 1, 2024, 8:55 pm
