Story
Charity is an engaging girl with a happy, lively attitude. Although not one for sitting still, she does know her sit command and also walks well on leash. She is eager to learn more and earn those training treats! After all, she loves you and she wants to please you! Yes, Charity is looking for an active partner and fast friend. She gets along with most dogs, but any dog friend needs to understand that she plays rough and loud. Charity shows signs of being housetrained, so she is ready to come right into your home and brighten your life.   ~ Est DOB: Mar 2023~ Intake weight: 48#~ Adoption details/application: calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlMay 31, 2024, 6:27 pm

Story
🐾WALLACE🖤 Wallace is a loving, handsome, 1.5 year old border Collie/husky mix. He is amazing with other dogs & lives with a bunch of them! He does well with cats as long as a clear expectation is made of how he should behave. 🐱 Wallace is house trained and kennel trained, and he walks/runs well on leash! He would do well with older children as long as they are familiar with the breed & ok with potentially being herded. 🐶 This sweet boy thrives with consistency. He has a hard time adapting to change but has gotten better and will continue to improve with the right amount of training. Wallace can get very excited and just needs someone calm and consistent in these times to help him be the best boy!🖤 Is Wallace the pup you’ve been looking for? Story
Hi! I’m Penny. If there was a contest for sweetness I would get the blue ribbon! I’m a 58# boxer/pittie/lab mix girl that loves everyone! I might also get a ribbon for beauty. Did you see that I have 1 blue eye and 1 brown eye? My 1 year birthday was 2/15/2024. I’m getting really excited about the possibility of getting to cuddle with my very own person and having a family of my very own. I love other dogs, kids and big people too. I am house broken, crate trained and fully vetted with microchip. I am used to a fenced yard so it is best if my new home has a fence. Might you be my next best friend?

Story
🌼Meet Cookie Cookie is a six month old Border Collie mix. She was saved by a kind family after being hit by a car. She is fully recovered from her injuries now and is ready to find her new family. 💕 Cookie is not only beautiful but is incredibly sweet as well. She is kind and gentle and just wants to be loved. She can be a bit shy at first but quickly warms up once she meets you and will stick by her person like glue. Cookie would be a great family dog with older children or the perfect companion. Due to her breed mix she needs space to run so a fenced in yard or a home with acreage would be ideal. 🐾 If Cookie sounds like the one you have been waiting for, please submit the adoption application. Sweet Cookie deserves to be loved and spoiled for the rest of her life! 🥰

Story
Patriot is a 3-year-old crate- and house-trained Border Collie/German Shepherd mix. He's quite handsome with his big brown eyes and medium-length black and white coat. He’s a sweet boy, full of love, compassion, and loyalty. He has the biggest heart and is very protective, but he requires an experienced dog owner because he can become anxious at times. Patriot likes to settle into a routine and would thrive in a calm household. He is a very active boy and loves to go for walks, but may require some reassurance along the way. Patriot will be a wonderful companion for the right owner. Story
This is Walker, a Border Collie mix.  He’s around 3 years old and weighs between 45 and 50 pounds.  If you look closely at him, you’ll see his heart in his eyes.  That’s because he is a true lover and an old soul, despite his young age. Walker wears a medium length, white and black coat which suits him well. In addition to his good looks, this boy is also a dog of great temperament; he gets along well with other dogs, kids and his foster’s cat.  Walker would be a fine family dog.  (posted 3/21/24, TN)    **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption: $395 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip and an Alabama State Health Certificate.   Transport, if needed  $160   We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip . We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs.  June 13, 2024, 6:24 pm
