WARNING: EXCESSIVE CUTENESS DETECTED! Hi! I'm Maizy, a 2½-year-old, 30-pound professional toy enthusiast, people lover, and full-time smile model. My smile is so big it shows ALL my teeth—don't worry, I'm not plotting world domination... I'm just ridiculously happy to see you! I love other dogs, adore people, and firmly believe that personal space is overrated. If you're sitting down, I'll be right there. If you're standing up, I'll be right there too. Basically, wherever you are is exactly where I want to be. My adoption fee is sponsored and reduced to just $40, and I'll be spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and vet-checked before going home. So what are you waiting for? Your goofy, smiling, toy-loving shadow is ready to meet you! â¤ï¸ Call 256-362-5856 to schedule an appointment and ask for Maizy June 17, 2026, 2:03 pm

I INTERRUPTED YOUR SCROLL FOR AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT. HI. I'M ROCKY. I have two speeds: ZOOMIES and "Did somebody say TOY?!" I believe every tennis ball deserves a proper investigation, every squeaky toy deserves a dramatic squeak test, and every human deserves approximately 4,763 kisses a day. You're welcome. I'm a 54.4-pound, 1 year old, professional fun machine with enough puppy energy to keep life exciting. I love people, I've done well with the other dogs I've met here at the shelter, and I'm always ready for my next adventure... even if that adventure is sprinting to the treat jar before you can blink. My adoption fee is sponsored and reduced to just $40! That includes me being neutered, my distemper/parvo vaccine, vet exam, fecal test for parasites, general dewormer, and a microchip before I head home with my new best friend. So... what are you waiting for? Quit pretending you're "just looking." We both know your couch has an empty spot with my name on it. Call 256-362-5856 to schedule an appointment to meet me. Hurry... these zoomies aren't going to perform themselves!   June 23, 2026, 9:54 am

Story
Five months old. Twenty-five pounds. Sheltie crossed with border collie. Coat so soft you'll find yourself reaching down to pet him without realizing you're doing it. Meet Dutch. He's on track to grow into a 40 to 45 pound adult. Smart in the way only sheltie and border collie crosses are smart, picking up new commands in a day or two and remembering them. The kind of dog who watches you to figure out what you're going to do next. If you've ever wanted a dog you can actually train, this is the one. Dutch is a Velcro dog. He wants to be near his person. Working from home, watching TV, walking room to room, he's right there. But he's not clingy in a needy way. When it's time to play, he's just as happy out in the yard with another dog, burning off energy and coming back when he's done. He's currently in foster with six foster sisters and one foster brother and gets along with all of them. If you've got another dog at home, he already knows how to share space. Dutch came to us after someone dumped him at the side of the road. That part of his life is over. What he needs now is a person who's done looking and ready to commit. If that sounds like you, let's talk. All of our adoptions are spay/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Animal-Angels Foundation is a Best Friends Network Partner, which connects us to the largest lifesaving network in the country. Our adoptable pets are also published to Adopt-a-Pet.com, the largest non-profit pet adoption website in North America. Through our Petco Love partnership, every adopter receives a 20 percent off coupon for Petco supplies on the day they take their new pet home. Wherever you find them, every adoption is supported by our 90-day Adoption Boost program and our Lifetime Return Policy.

Story
Stacy is a cheerful, outgoing young dog who’s ready to make friends wherever she goes—she’s just as happy bouncing over to greet new people as she is joining in with other dogs. She has that fun, youthful energy that makes everyday moments feel a little more playful, and she’d love a home where she can stay engaged with games, activity, and companionship. Despite her enthusiasm, Stacy walks nicely on leash and is an easy partner to take along on outings. She’s a bright, social pup who will bring a steady dose of joy without overwhelming the room. Story
**Meet Piper! 💜** Just like her namesake from *Charmed*, Piper is sweet, lovable, and impossible not to adore. At just 4–5 months old and 15 pounds of pure cuteness and wiggles, this Border Collie mix is ready to charm her way right into your heart. Piper has all the intelligence and personality you'd expect from a Border Collie, but with a more laid-back, easygoing attitude. She's goofy, playful, and always up for fun, but she also knows how to relax and enjoy a good nap. One of Piper's best qualities? She's fantastic with kids. She's spent months living with a busy toddler and remains completely unbothered by the chaos, noise, and constant activity. She takes it all in stride and has been an absolute rockstar family dog. Piper is fully crate trained and actually loves her crate—she'll happily go in on cue and settle down for some quiet time. She's about 85% potty trained and continues to make great progress every day. She's also wonderful with other dogs and has done great living alongside a cat. When it comes to affection, Piper has the perfect balance. She's a world-class snuggler when you're in the mood for cuddles, but she's also independent enough to be perfectly content relaxing on a dog bed or hanging out in her kennel nearby. We haven't started leash training yet simply because there haven't been enough hours in the day, but Piper is incredibly smart and eager to learn. She'll pick it up in no time with a little consistency and patience. Piper has spent her puppyhood waiting for a family to call her own. Now she's ready for her forever home—one that will appreciate her sweet nature, goofy personality, and endless capacity for love. Could Piper be your perfect match? 🐾❤️ If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.cognitoforms.com/DixieGirl1/PetAdoptionApplicationForm2 Most of our are pets are fostered in Southern foster homes and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel.
