Story
Meet Ozy, a one-year-old Labrador retriever and border collie mix with all the lovable qualities of a lab in a slightly smaller package.  Full grown at 55 lbs, Ozy loves water, is an expert at playing fetch and has the best nature. He’s friendly, lovable, a little goofy and just wants to sit on your lap! He’s great with other dogs of all ages and shows remarkable patience with the small puppies in his foster home.  Ozy is a turn-key ready dog. He was rescued from a rural shelter in July 2024 and has been learning how to be a good dog in his foster home ever since. Ozy is 100-percent potty trained, crate trained, easy to walk on a leash and obedient. He’s a good listener. He’ll come when you call his name and go to his crate when told. He aims to please his person. He loves a good treat, but it isn’t required for him to listen to instructions. Ozy is very smart and learns new skills quickly. Ozy does best with a good walk in the morning, but his energy level isn’t off the charts for being part border collie. But we would like his forever home to be an active one. Ozy would love to go on all the adventures with his new family. He absolutely loves going for car rides, and he would truly thrive going on hikes or walks in new places with his forever family.

Story
Meet Sheesh, a one-year-old pup whose unique personality perplexed her foster mom until she received the breed results — border collie and Labrador retriever!  Sheesh’s hobbies are all lab. She loves playing fetch and brings the ball back consistently.  Sheesh also loves water and will go towards any source of water, whether it’s coming from a sprinkler in the neighborhood or running in a creek. She loves being outside in the rain and isn’t afraid of getting all wet. She’s so calm and easy during baths that her foster mom still bathes her in the kitchen sink even though she’s much too big for it now at 45 lbs full grown.  The border collie in Sheesh is also very apparent in how intelligent and obedient she is. Sheesh follows instructions without the need for a treat. She’ll come when you call her name and go to her crate when told to. She’s very smart and learns new skills quickly. She also has some herding tendencies and can get very focused on things like a squirrel in the yard. She’s of course energetic, but does take plenty of naps throughout the day.  Sheesh will do best in an active home with owners who want to take her on long morning walks. Sheesh loves her walks, but she can get a little too excited by other excitable dogs she encounters. She will need someone willing to work with her on this, possibly with a trainer’s help. Sheesh is very redirectable and responsive if the person walking her knows what to do.  Sheesh has been in her foster home since July 2024 and is fully potty trained, crate trained and has zero separation anxiety. She’s super friendly, happy and loving, and is friends with all the dogs in her foster home. There’s not a mean bone in her body. She even shows remarkable patience with small puppies, letting them climb all over her and chew on her beautiful, fluffy tail. Although she’s not perfect, Sheesh is a special young dog who will bring great joy to her forever family.”

Story
They love to play with toys, they're good on a leash, and they're extremely friendly and social! Which pups are these, you might wonder! Mika, Ren, Karate, Hinata, and Hikaru, of course! This litter is a delightful group of Border Collie/Hound mixes. Four months old right now, they weigh about 23 pounds and will each mature to between 40 and 45 pounds. Maybe the best part of having these babies around is that they're wonderful to watch as they tumble around the play yard together or with their other canine friends. That's what puppies are all about, isn't it? (posted 4/19/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **April 19, 2025, 12:47 pm

Story
Skyler is a sweet loving family dog who adores people and loves a cuddle. Perfect as a companion she is happiest sitting at your feet, even though she is always excited for a walk/hike too. Skyler is fully house trained and very smart. She is a very easy dog and does not fuss even if its "bath time". Skyler is 5yrs old, and we have loved every day she has been in our lives. Sadly we have had a family member come to live with us and he is allergic to dogs, so we are in a position where we need to find our beloved Skyler a new forever family.
