Meet Tad – Your Future Adventure Buddy & Loyal Companion!Tad is a 1-year, 3-month-old Australian Shepherd mix with a heart as big as his brain. Born in our rescue after his mom was surrendered with her litter of seven, Tad has grown into a peaceful, intelligent, and incredibly loving soul. When Tad looks into your eyes, you can feel his gentle spirit and sharp mind. He's a playful goof with his foster siblings—wrestling, chewing toys, occasionally sneaking a sock or shirt from the laundry for a little mischief. After playtime, you’ll often find him curled up in his kennel or sprawled out on a dog bed, soaking in a well-earned nap.Tad is both house-trained and crate-trained, and he thrives on structure and routine. He enjoys sunny backyard days, splashy fun in the water, and quiet evenings watching Netflix by your side. While he’s a cuddle bug at heart, Tad also has energy to burn and would love a home with space to run—he and his brother could go for miles!Because of his sensitive and thoughtful nature, Tad would do best in a home without small children. He hasn’t been around cats yet, so introductions should be slow and supervised. He’s formed a strong bond with his foster family, so his forever family will need to be patient and loving as he settles in.Tad is ready for his forever adventure—with someone who understands his heart and gives him the space, fun, and affection he deserves. Could that be you? Apply to adopt Tad today on our website!   ##2062567##

Story
Gunther is a sweet, sensitive, devoted, 12ish year old boy that's young at heart and weighs about 40 lbs.  He can be a bit bossy and possessive when it comes to interacting with other dogs, but he's been really good with the Chihuahua that he's been fostered with, and he loves to run and play with a female friend of his that's about his size.  He also does very well being the only dog, and would love to have a human or two that he doesn't have to share with anyone else and a big yard to run around in.  He had a benign anal tumor removed about a year ago, but recovered quickly and completely.  He's been chipped, neutered and is up to date on his vaccinations. Gunther's adoption fee is $275, with a $21 PACC license transfer fee. he is adoptable to homes in Tucson, Marana, Oro Valley, Catalina and Sahuarita only. Please fill out an adoption application here http://tucsoncoldwetnoses.com/adoptable-pets/adoption-application/ to meet Gunther or email info@tucsoncoldwetnoses.com with any questions  *Applications to adopt: wwwTucsonColdWetNoses.com Home Visit / ID and Residence Verification is required.  Compliance does not imply or guarantee adoption.   Approval is the sole discretion of CWN representative(s). Story
Coby is a handsome Border Collie mix who was adopted from PACC previously and spent about six months in a home. In that home he reportedly did well with other dogs, was house trained, and was described as an affectionate, independent dog who loves toys, likes car rides and knows tricks. Here’s what his former person said:“Coby overall is a very sweet, beautiful dog. He is clownish, loves to play and fetch, and makes cute noises. He gets along well with humans he knows and dogs. He really likes being on a set schedule, so it`s best if he is in an environment where it is relatively quiet and predictable. He can be left alone in the house loose for hours at a time. He likes to play with his human and dog companions and knows when you say `gentle` to be more gentle with you. He walks best with another dog, but if he is alone he is fine, just needs a bit more leash training. Loud noises are tough for him, but he improves all the time. He likes to play fetch indoors, so it would be best if he had a place bigger than a small studio. I moved into a tiny mobile home, and I think he`d be happier in a bigger place.”Here’s what some of Coby’s friends at the shelter have said:“Coby was a little timid in the kennel but easy to leash. Once he was out, he became very curious- a big-time sniffer. It’s fun to watch his ears prick up when listening to something as he has very tall ears. He’s great with his kennelmate, he likes attention, and he knows his ‘sit’ command. His ‘down’ command is new to him, but he’s about halfway into it. A couple more tries and I know he’ll get it. It’s obvious that he has high intelligence and is very trainable. Overall, a delight to walk.”“Coby was shy at first, but after a tasty treat, he allowed the leash to be placed. He seemed to gain confidence around his kennelmate and walked nicely. He took treats gently.”Coby shares his with another PACC pup and has been playful and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d love to trade shelter life for a quiet home with a family who will help him decompress and feel safe. Ask to meet Coby today!
