Story
Meet Tad – Your Future Adventure Buddy & Loyal Companion!Tad is a 2-year, Australian Shepherd mix with a heart as big as his brain. Born in our rescue after his mom was surrendered with her litter of seven, Tad has grown into a peaceful, intelligent, and incredibly loving soul. When Tad looks into your eyes, you can feel his gentle spirit and sharp mind. He's a playful goof with his foster siblings—wrestling, chewing toys, occasionally sneaking a sock or shirt from the laundry for a little mischief. After playtime, you’ll often find him curled up in his kennel or sprawled out on a dog bed, soaking in a well-earned nap.Tad is both house-trained and crate-trained, and he thrives on structure and routine. He enjoys sunny backyard days, splashy fun in the water, and quiet evenings watching Netflix by your side. While he’s a cuddle bug at heart, Tad also has energy to burn and would love a home with space to run—he and his brother could go for miles!Because of his sensitive and thoughtful nature, Tad would do best in a home without small children. He hasn’t been around cats yet, so introductions should be slow and supervised. He’s formed a strong bond with his foster family, so his forever family will need to be patient and loving as he settles in.Tad is ready for his forever adventure—with someone who understands his heart and gives him the space, fun, and affection he deserves. Could that be you? Apply to adopt Tad today on our website!   ##2062567##

Gavin is a gentle soul who simply needs patience, love, and a calm environment to help him feel at home.Gavin gets along great with the other dogs in his foster home and absolutely loves playtime with his canine siblings. Story
Copper is just a little over a year (DOB 7/1/2026 and he is a border collie mix. We adopted him at 8 weeks and he is part of a full household of 4 children, a cat, and several chickens. He gets along with the children, has become wiser with the cat, and loves chasing the chickens. He is playful, crate trained, and obeys several commands. We are still working on leash training, he still pulls when you walk him. He waits for food on command but he has food aggression issues. We find him relaxed for being a puppy (although he is our first dog and puppy). He is ok for a guard dog, sometimes alerting us to guests and sometimes not. He is a well loved puppy and we are sorry to part with him. His herding instincts cause issues with visiting children and our busy household. He is good with visiting adults but not visiting children and we feel he is better off is a household either without children or in a household that understands his herding instincts and can manage him better.

Story
We are moving and cannot take our dog, Lacy, with us :( She is not pure bred, but more than 90% Border Collie, the smartest dog breed. We got her from a rancher who breeds her work dogs. She's 4 years old and not spayed, but has had her shots. She is excellent with people and children, and she never has even hinted at aggression. She is mostly well behaved around other dogs, but there is one in the neighborhood she doesn't like. She is well trained (recall, passing through doors only on command, leaving food on command, etc) and barking is minimal. She is finally passing her boundless puppy energy stage and is much more relaxed, though she still LOVES fetch, walks, hikes. She hates water. We would only part with her if we know she is going to a good home and to people who will love her.
