Story
Cleo is a 4-year-old Border Collie/ Black Lab that I adopted from a shelter when she was about 6 months old.Cleo is very loving/sweet with her people but struggles with anxiety and reactivity toward strangers and other dogs. She has also shown some protective behavior towards me. An ideal home for her would be with someone who is experienced with reactivity. The best thing about her is her loyalty towards her people. We hope to find someone loving to care for her.

Story
In many Latin American countries, “cachito” means a `small piece` or `a little bit`. Our adorable pup Cachito is a very sweet boy who would love to share a small piece of his heart with you… actually that’s a lie- he wants to share his whole heart with you!! Here’s what one volunteer at the shelter said:“Cachito is a very sweet, well-behaved pup who loves to cuddle! He is very much still a puppy who curiously explores on his walks. He loves to play, run around and explore in a play yard with his kennelmate! Cachito is a good listener and responds well to doggy communication!” Cachito shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been social and tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident pups before heading home to ensure a good fit. If you’re looking for a smiley, bouncy, curious pup, Cachito is ready to go home today!

EMERGENCY PLACEMENT DEADLINECLOSE OF BUSINESS SATURDAY 6/6/26AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY THROUGH PACC Name: Hershey Animal ID: A882205Age: 3 years Weight: 44.5lbsWeb Link: 24petconnect.com/PimaAdoptablePets/Details/PIMA/A882205 About: Meet Hershey, a gorgeous three-year-old Border Collie who is looking for a calm, stable, and consistent home where she can get a true fresh start. Hershey first came to the shelter last September after her previous owner sadly passed away. She was adopted for a few months but has recently returned to us, giving us valuable insight into the exact type of environment she needs to thrive. Hershey is a classic `velcro dog` who loves to curl up right in your lap, and we have no doubt that she will be an incredibly loyal companion for the rest of her life if just given the right chance. From her most recent home, we learned that Hershey tends to bond intensely with one individual and can display resource guarding behavior over her chosen person. In her previous home, she became very attached to the grandmother and began guarding her from the daughter and children, which resulted in several ankle-nipping incidents and minor bites that did not break the skin. This behavior aligns closely with her natural herding breed instincts, as she will actively go after ankles. Because of this, Hershey will do best with an experienced owner who understands herding breed characteristics and knows how to manage and redirect these specific behaviors.Additionally, Hershey`s deep bond with her human means she can experience some separation anxiety when her person leaves. On a positive note, her previous owners stated that she has had good experiences with both small dogs and cats. However, a slow, proper introduction is always recommended for any resident pets. If you are familiar with the brilliance of herding breeds and are looking for a devoted, sweet, and slightly shy shadow to join your quiet household, please come down and meet Hershey today.Available for adoption ONLY through PACC.Interested parties:Must visit PACC before the COB Saturday June 6th, 2026 deadline to meet with a counselor who will review notes and introduce you to the dog to ensure that it’s a good fit. Some dogs may also require an introduction to any dogs they may potentially live with. Home Management PlanUndocumented Bite History: • Incident Details: multiple undocumented bites (no skin

Meet Tad – Your Future Adventure Buddy & Loyal Companion!Tad is a 2-year, Australian Shepherd mix with a heart as big as his brain. Born in our rescue after his mom was surrendered with her litter of seven, Tad has grown into a peaceful, intelligent, and incredibly loving soul. When Tad looks into your eyes, you can feel his gentle spirit and sharp mind. He's a playful goof with his foster siblings—wrestling, chewing toys, occasionally sneaking a sock or shirt from the laundry for a little mischief. After playtime, you’ll often find him curled up in his kennel or sprawled out on a dog bed, soaking in a well-earned nap.Tad is both house-trained and crate-trained, and he thrives on structure and routine. He enjoys sunny backyard days, splashy fun in the water, and quiet evenings watching Netflix by your side. While he’s a cuddle bug at heart, Tad also has energy to burn and would love a home with space to run—he and his brother could go for miles!Because of his sensitive and thoughtful nature, Tad would do best in a home without small children. He hasn’t been around cats yet, so introductions should be slow and supervised. He’s formed a strong bond with his foster family, so his forever family will need to be patient and loving as he settles in.Tad is ready for his forever adventure—with someone who understands his heart and gives him the space, fun, and affection he deserves. Could that be you? Apply to adopt Tad today on our website!   ##2062567##

Story
The Ausky is a cross between an Australian Cattle Dog and a Siberian Husky, both intelligent, active and enduring breeds. The resulting cross is an intelligent and active dog that does best with early socialization and plenty to do.Foster Notes: He was dumped at a local bank. He gets along well with our dogs, is crate trained, potty trained and learning the treadmill very quickly in my mobile dog gym. He’s very playful and smart, food motivated and easy to train.

Story
This was a hard decision to make in trying to find a new home for my dog. I recently had neck surgery. The recovery time is very long and I’m looking at another surgery this summer. Kirby is an extremely smart dog and is high energy. I am unable to work with him to release his energy by play, walks, etc. He needs an equally active person.
