💛 My Personality
• ✨ Describe me in 3 words: Loyal, playful, bossy 😂
• ❤️ My favorite thing in the whole world is: Being with my people. After raising 11 babies, I'm finally getting to enjoy being the baby myself!
• 🤪 My funniest or biggest quirk: I can be the self appointed 'fun police.' If the other dogs are getting a little too wild or rowdy, I may step in and let everyone know it's time to settle down. Very Border Collie of me! 😂
• 🥹 The quickest way to win my heart: Give me snacks. Especially freeze dried liver treats will do the trick.
• 👤 If I were a person, I'd be: a young adult who wants everyone to keep the noise down after 8 p.m.She's the girl at the party telling everyone to settle down and be responsible. She is also the responsible mom friend who keeps everyone in line.
🏡 Living With Me
• ☀️ My perfect day looks like: Spending time with my people, getting some exercise and playtime, hanging out with my dog friends, and then settling in for some love and relaxation.
• 🎾 Things I LOVE: My people, other dogs, playing, being included, and finally getting to enjoy life without a bunch of puppies hanging off me!
• 🚫 Things I'd rather skip: Too much chaos and commotion. I can get a little bossy when other dogs are playing too hard or things get overly exciting.
• 🛏️ Where/how I like to sleep: Still learning my favorite sleeping arrangements now that I'm puppy free!

🐾 My Friends
• 🐕 Dogs: Yes! Kimber enjoys other dogs, but slow introductions are important. She can be a little rough at first and may come across as snarky until she feels comfortable. Once settled, she enjoys doggy friends. She can also be bossy and likes to referee when play gets too rowdy.
• 🐈 Cats: Unknown at this time.
• 👶 Kids: Yes! She has done well with kids.

🏠 My Perfect Home
• ❤️ My ideal family: A loving family who understands that Kimber may need a little patience in the beginning. Someone who appreciates a Border Collie type personality and will give her structure, exercise, love, and plenty of opportunities to finally enjoy being a young dog.
• 🏃 Activity level: Medium ish. She has energy and loves to play, but she also has an old soul side and knows how to settle.
• 🌳 Do I need a fenced yard? A fenced yard would be a great bonus for her
• 🏢 Apartment-friendly? Possibly with an active family committed to giving her enough physical exercise and mental stimulation.
• 🐶 Would I love another dog, or would I rather be the star of the show? Kimber can absolutely enjoy having another dog! A well matched dog who respects her boundaries would be ideal. She can be a little bossy, so a dog who doesn't mind her occasionally being the hall monitor would probably appreciate her most. 😂
⭐ Just One More Thing…
• 💕 What's something every adopter should know about me? Kimber has spent the first part of her rescue journey being an amazing mama. Now that her puppies are grown and she's officially off mom duty, we're watching this whole new side of her emerge. Underneath that responsible mama exterior is a young, playful dog who is finally getting her turn.
• 📖 Tell us your favorite story or memory with me: Watching her go from devoted mama to realizing, 'Wait…I get to play too!' Her puppy tendencies are starting to come out more and more now that she doesn't have babies to worry about.
• 🥹 Why do you think someone will fall in love with me? Because Kimber is the perfect mix of sweet, smart, quirky and fun. She loves her people, enjoys other dogs, and has that classic Border Collie personality where she occasionally feels responsible for keeping everyone in line. She just needs someone willing to let her finally enjoy being somebody's baby instead of everyone else's mom. ❤️
• 📸 What's your favorite photo of me and why? One that shows her finally relaxed and happy, because after everything she's done for her puppies, it's Kimber's turn to find the family who will take care of her. 🐾❤️
